The stay was disappointing. Despite reports to reception several times, a broken toilet flush was not repaired and there was no replacement room. The toilet remained unusable all weekend. Instead of a solution or apology, I had to go to the freely accessible toilet. The handling of my complaint was unprofessional and the promised compensation has not yet been provided. There was no response to my complaint email. This is not how you treat paying customers!Basically the hotel was clean and the breakfast was good.

Great location, clean hotel, modern and nicely decorated. Breakfast very good.Only the price for the garage was exaggerated and an extra bed for 2.5 years. A child should have cost €30, although another employee said the evening before that neither a baby bed nor an extra bed cost extra.We then left it with a free baby cot/travel cot. Parking spaces can also be found around it, at least on weekends Sat-Sun without any problems.Great playground right in the new development area in front of the hotel. Beds comfortable too.Staff friendly, except for one who probably had a bad day.

A room for three people with a double bed and sofa bed was booked. At check-in we asked for an extra EUR 30 for an extra bed because we “certainly didn’t want” the sofa bed. It turned out to be a sofa bed measuring 70x180. That's max for one child. Since a family checked in at the same time who had exactly the same problem, this problem seems to exist more often. You also have to pay a lot for other additional services, e.g. parking for 19.00. We then skipped the expensive breakfast (not included either). That was our first and last visit to this hotel.

Rip-offsThere were three of us there and an extra bed was provided for us directly from the hotelhadn't booked at all and had to pay €30 for it. Generally the prices there: €20 for a parking space, €20 for fitness, €23 for breakfast etc.Family next to us had the same thing and the next morning a third person had problems/complaints.That should have 4.3 stars? NeverNot recommended.

I am writing this review after waiting in vain for a response from the hotel. I give 0 stars for the lack of an answer. I think it's a shame that no one got in touch.But now about how it was. We spent a long weekend in this hotel on October 3rd. First of all I would like to say that I found the atmosphere very appealing. The beautiful colors in the foyer as well as in the seating areas, the bar area and in the rooms make it stand out from many other hotels. The staff at the reception were also very friendly. 😊However, I would also like to share my criticism on two things. One time it's about breakfast. You can't say the selection is bad. The sausage and ham selection is actually very tasty. We travel a lot and therefore have a good comparison with other hotels in the same category. If you e.g. For example, if you compare the breakfast in the Crown Plaza (Hamburg) or at Hollywood Media (Berlin) with this one, then there are still big differences. In Crown Plaza, for example, there are fried eggs and waffles. Also, such a delicious Birchler muesli. Some hotels also offer salmon. I know, you can't do more than eat, and you don't have to have everything.... But of course you think about why there is more in one hotel than in another. The Crown Plaza is not necessarily more expensive.And then there was the matter of the champagne on Sunday. Because there was some on Saturday. And we didn't understand that there was no one on Sunday. Especially because it was Sunday. I asked the lady who worked in the breakfast area about it. She initially said that champagne was only available on weekends. Well... it was the weekend. I told her that too. She then said that there had been delivery problems. Well, that can happen. It was just a real shame and disappointing for us. Maybe you should have reordered in time.And the second point I would like to mention is that the light in our bathroom was far too dark. Room 521. Maybe something was broken? That's why, as mentioned above, I wrote an email.Otherwise the hotel is great. We had a lovely time in Freiburg and slept well in our beds. 😃

We were here at the end of August for a trip from Friday to Saturday. The hotel is located in a completely renovated, quiet area just outside the old town, which can only be easily reached by the nearby tram in about five stops.The bathroom and beds looked like new and very clean, there were no noises from outside or other rooms, so we slept very well.We were pleasantly surprised that free coffee and drinks were served next to the reception.We parked our car in the paid underground car park, which had enough free spaces and was directly connected to our floor by elevator.

The hotel is phenomenal. Very new. Very clean. The staff is very attentive. Walking it is 30' from the center and if you don't feel like walking, there is a tram almost at the door that takes you to the center. We loved the hotel and the trip in general.There are areas in the surrounding area where it is not necessary to pay for parking. You have to pay attention to the paid signs, but it is easy to find free parking nearby.
