We took a school trip here in 2024. Unfortunately, this was a nightmare for most students. There were creepy crawlies everywhere in the rooms. The showers had black floors and the entire walls were covered in mold up to their knees. I wonder if this is good for my health. The outside area was very nice and there was a lot to do. My feedback is that unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable and then left early for reasons such as not enough air in the bed or a house dust mite allergy.

We were in Darmstadt with a youth group for a sporting event and stayed overnight at the youth center.We can highly recommend the Jugendhof as an alternative to the classic youth hostel. Our individual requests at meal times were addressed very well. We also can't complain about the food itself: fresh ingredients, deliciously cooked. Since we had to leave early, we got a nice packed lunch.You can of course see that the Jugendhof has had a few years under its belt and the rooms. But basically everything you need is there. We would definitely come back again. :-)

A beautiful place where you can just be, enjoy the moment and unwind. Friendly and relaxed people, everything is very uncomplicated - a pleasant change from the often stressful everyday life. And there is delicious coffee too! (with a bit of luck also with an unusual motif in the milk foam! ;)). Thank you again - I'll be happy to come back. :)

I've been to the Forstlove Café more often on Sundays: great atmosphere in the middle of the forest, currently with cultural highlights. How great is that: in these crazy times, chilling in the forest with heartfelt music in the afternoon, with delicious coffee and cake, a choice of wild boar sausage or seitan steaks and - of course in compliance with all hygiene requirements - meeting nice people, chilling out and chatting . Speaking of cakes: every Sunday there are new, sweet, imaginative creations - for the eyes and taste buds. And the grilled wild boar sausage is of course made from meat from the local hunting tenant. Most of the food is donated. All in all, a great, well-rounded concept that spreads a good mood. This is absolutely worth the trip. Thank you, dear forstlove team!
