GS Die Pension

On our 6-day bike trip from Würzburg to Paris, we (a friend and I) decided to look for a room because we had already been allowed to camp in the snow for one night. The temperatures were still very cool in the evening, so it was basically a "planned strategic spontaneous action" in order to be able to continue the trip without any problems. (We didn't feel like getting hypothermic or catching a cold, as we all know cycling isn't that fun).Half the day before we had already been on the MTB with forged derailleur gears. Also a “nice” experience.But about the overnight stay: After stocking up on food in front of a discount store, we googled “pension”. After several other unsuccessful phone calls, it was “GS Die Pension’s” turn:The phone call turned out to be surprisingly straightforward. After a short inquiry and a nice subsequent conversation to clarify the situation (we're standing here in front of the L*dl and freezing our asses off;) I was informed that, after a short availability check, I would be called back. Which ultimately happened promptly.After about 15 minutes of travel time, we were greeted in a very friendly manner by the owner and his family and taken to the double room. Our bikes could be stored under cover and protected from theft. We were even able to "set up" our tents overnight to dry from the night before.The room was very clean and modernly furnished. At times we were "overwhelmed" with the light switches. A short instruction would have been helpful, but not necessary in our situation. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom with a spacious shower 🚿 is also very clean and functional.We were accommodated on the second floor (room 208). On the ground floor there is also a small lounge with an equally small kitchen, which is also suitable for preparing meals or for a short stay, such as having breakfast or similar. It was just a little cool there because the heating was turned down. But it could easily be changed. The room as such was well heated and (to reiterate) comfortable and pleasant.The price was also reasonable.The following day, checkout was also super uncomplicated. We received a friendly farewell, "collected" our tents and bikes and, after gathering a little warmth and energy, were able to continue our journey.We reached our destination (Paris - approx. 640 km).Looking back, my conclusion is:Absolutely recommended. Very good price/performance ratio. Quiet location in a commercial area. Top. Brand new, modern and clean

Friendly welcome and instruction even at a late hour. Everything was super clean, functional and well-equipped modern rooms with decent beds. Nice bathroom with a large shower, also very clean. Quiet location, the windows almost exclude the aircraft noise that is common in the area (air conditioning available)! Recommendation!!!

Very nice accommodation. Everything clean and modern.Good WiFi, nice shower and great bed.You don't get breakfast. But almost opposite you can have a good breakfast from 7 a.m.The owner is friendly and nice.Keep it up.
