I recently had to stay overnight in Cologne for work. My company booked this hotel for me.The room was very spacious and I particularly remember the cleanliness.The reception was very friendly and accommodating. Which wasn't exactly a given, as previously a somewhat uncouth and arrogant guest had behaved anything but friendly. Chapeau to the owner for remaining so calm.

I changed my booking from another hotel to this hotel at short notice and was very happy with my decision.The hotel is small and familiar.Although the furnishings of the rooms (apart from the bathrooms) are not ultra-modern, they still seemed very well maintained and in no way shabby.Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness of the room and also in the breakfast room.I have rarely, if ever, experienced it so clean in comparable houses.The breakfast was very varied for such a small hotel, especially the selection of vegetables with cucumber slices, tomatoes, peppers and carrots, which I have rarely seen in comparable hotels.The location is good: reasonably quiet (sometimes you could hear the planes, but it wasn't bothersome for me), not far from the Rhine. An Edeka with a drinks market as well as several pizzerias and an ice cream parlor are within walking distance.

Finding somewhere to stay overnight in the middle of Cologne is difficult. A room was available at short notice at the Ambiente Hotel. Booking was uncomplicated and quick.The staff was friendly and arriving late wasn't a problem.The rooms were clean and comfortable.Unfortunately, breakfast could not be tested due to time constraints.

My stay at the hotel was great! The reception was very friendly, the staff was super nice, the room was very clean!!! and the breakfast was fantastic. I can only recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel. Located a bit outside (Köln Poll/Porz/Zündorf), but still close enough to the city center that you can get there quickly if you want.Clean rooms, very nice reception, good breakfast buffet, attentive and friendly breakfast service, everything was great. WLAN and TV also worked without any problems (two WLAN SSIDs are specified, one of two worked). Rooms may be a bit too expensive, but the prices are transparent in advance. I'd love to come back next year!

I stayed at the Hotel Ambiente for one night because of an appointment in Cologne Westhoven. The room was very clean, cozy and chic and there was even a gummy bear goodnight greeting :)When I said I had to leave before breakfast, which was scheduled for 8:00, I was even offered to have it postponed to 7:30.The person at the reception was very friendly, competent and helpful!Great hotel ^^

Reception is open until 10, we were half an hour late, but we communicated this in advance.When we arrived on site, we found no one and the emergency numbers could not be reached. Through a colleague who was also staying on site we were able to get into the foyer to the reception. After a while the owner came and promptly insulted us as rabble and rabble, for no reason at all.Even after explaining and asking about checking in, he continued to insult us, saying we were not worthy of the house and that we were anti-social rabble, and then he expelled us from the house under threat of violence.We have been coming to this hotel as guests for work reasons for years, this was the last time.You shouldn't treat people like that, especially not guests. I have to advise everyone not to visit this hotel, the owner is rude, abusive and one of the unfriendly people I have ever met!
