This hotel wouldn't be so bad at 50 euros per night. But at 140 euros - I frankly expected more. The room I got(#12) was NOT even close to what was pictured on the hotel's website. The room was old and not that modern. The TV and radio(especially!) was very old. The worst part was the toilet rocked around from the floor and the water did not drain in the sink. Micro bathroom. The room was clean. The outside of the hotel is obviously where they spent their money. I really can not recommend this hotel - even though Astrid(the owner) was nice enough to deal with. Sad to say I won't be staying here again. There are too many better hotels for this price class. :/

Family owned and run small hotel that has this warm welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Recent refurbishment has been done to a very high standard with some small but very clever ideas, like having a wood logs as a bedside tables. Should I visit Dormagen again I know where I will be staying.

The first night they offered to me a poor room in the basement of another building, with a cold bathroom outside the room and with an unusable wardrobe already full of clothes. Reach this neighboring house in the night was quite difficult, the way tru your utility rooms /garage / and dark garden difficult and absolutely not safe. In the room where I stayed for the other nights the wifi signal was too low and therefore unusable and the "very quiet" environment advertised on the hotel website has been broken every morning at 6:30 by the bell tower. Moreover the breakfast was very poor for a ***Superior, only common bread available and on Sunday not even that.

Check-in went perfectly. The rooms are new and modern, but still very comfortably furnished, which is also due to the fact that a lot of solid wood was used here. …
