The pictures do not do this place justice. Utterly blown away by the hotel, the town and the scenery. I had a huge room, (the three windows directly above the canopy on the photo), plenty of hot water and fabulous food. …

This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of a beautiful town. Rooms are great, clean, comfortable and linens are divine. The food is excellent and as well service. The owner and the staff went beyond expectations and meet our every need. Will stay again.

The hotel is central however you need to park in the public car park which is a short walk and 7 euros per night.|We upgraded to a superior room (4) which gave us a bigger room with a river view.  …

The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is good but in my opinion it is slightly overpriced considering the quality. Had to ask for the bill 3 times and wait a long time to pay after we were done. Also got served the wrong drink

Great location with views over the river and old town from the terraced restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and efficient during what was a very busy and extremely hot day and evening. Thanks to one and all.

We had a drink on the lovely terrace next to the river. Terrace gets sun in the afternoon to evening in summer! Three stars because while the beer was cold, the view was lovely, service was adequate… they propose nothing at all to snack on while drinking your half liter of beer. Not a peanut, not a cheese cube. We would have paid 10-15 euros for a charcuterie board, some cheese cubes or slices of ham with the local mustard. All you can get is carpaccio, salad, soup, hamburger. How hard would it be to propose a snack plate for drinks? Even at an outrageous price like everything else you find in this rip-off town.

Beautiful location with rooms with amazing views; open the window to hear the small river stream and feel at peace. Until you go eat downstairs...The hotel restaurant is a disaster. With a group we got a fixed menu that came directly from the (bad part of the) 80s: shameless and tasteless. One evening we got a bland milkshake (!) for dessert. The other evening unpealable (=overcooked) shrimps and a curry with canned vegetables. How sad that the best part of dinner was an insulting dessert: furthermore, strawberries and whipped cream can hardly be called dessert. When booking a night make sure to eat somewhere else, especially with bigger groups. The restaurant is definitely managed by other people than the rest of the hotel. Difference of night(mare) and day.Service (restaurant): 6Food: 2Level of food disaster: 10
