Had a really nice reception, but that was about it.The hotel is located in the middle of the city and above a beer garden...so things get loud until late into the night. The main street with all the posers is also really fun (if you like car racing at night).The breakfast was also so-so... I would have liked some fresh fruit...

What stands out most about this hotel is the great kindness of all the staff, both for the Hotel part and for the Café/Restaurant part. The staff is continually attentive to your well-being.The rooms are small but clean and pleasant. Free bottles of water are left in the room every day.The restaurant has a wide variety of drinks and food and has a modern and comfortable atmosphere.I will be back.

We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance (it's in Café NY), but everything worked out.Uncomplicated and quick check-in, free parking and large, bright rooms. WiFi worked perfectly. 2 free water bottles included. Room.Breakfast was served in buffet form, but there was still the option to order something from the breakfast menu free of charge.

My stay at this hotel, which is part of a restaurant, was a mixed experience. Check-in, which takes place in the middle of ongoing restaurant operations, was inconvenient and disruptive. There were also initially problems with my booking, even though it had already been paid for. I only received my room card after showing the debit. The additional parking fees of 6 euros per day were also an unexpected burden.The rooms themselves were of an acceptable size, but I was unlucky that my room and bathroom initially smelled unpleasant. I also found hair on the bathroom floor, which indicates a lack of cleanliness. Towels and a hairdryer were provided and fine, but the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, which made for a restless sleep. The bed squeaked with every movement and the bed linen had an unpleasant chemical smell after cleaning.A positive aspect was the breakfast, which was very appealing, and the restaurant itself offered a cozy atmosphere for evening meetings. Still, due to the check-in issues, the lack of cleanliness in the room, and the uncomfortable bed, I would probably look for somewhere else to stay the next time I visit the area.

We stayed at the Stadthotel Langenfeld for 4 days and can only recommend it. The rooms are small but nice and very clean. Breakfast was rich (not buffet style). The entire staff is friendly and motivated. We'd love to come back.

I was positively surprised by the cleanliness and the pleasant shower. The service was very good, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive and varied, and the coffee was particularly excellent.

The rooms are very nice and newly renovated. The hotel has a great location right in the city center of Langenfeld. The breakfast, although not currently in buffet form, is very rich. You get a selection of different eggs, a large plate of sausage and cheese as well as croissants and rolls.

The hotel advertises on HRS with a rich breakfast buffet. For €10 you get a plate of discount items and a coffee. I was told that a warm egg dish is not possible.The rooms were sufficient and clean.Unfortunately I cannot recommend the hotel.

Friendly, courteous staff.I really have to mention here, from the boss to the facility manager, everyone was super friendly, just as you would expect from a host!Despite my wrong booking (wrong week), you made it possible. Some call the rooms old-fashioned or unmodern, I would call it retro. Clean room and bathroom which is important to me personally.The Cafe News York is great (also the reception by the way). Food in the cafe, super tasty and value for money is great!Breakfast buffet on the weekend (in the cafe), great selection! Some large hotel chains can follow an example!Centrally located and good for shopping tours including park options for little money.The only criticism points, complaining at a high level... Windows could use some soundproofing, mattress was a bit too soft for me and there is no elevator in case you have a little more luggage with you or it's difficult to walk. these are the reasons why one star less.Nevertheless, I would recommend it without reservation 👍 as long as you don't have walking restrictions!
