I was there with some colleagues to stay the night as we were going to attend to a training course at F.W. Löbbe Heating and Cooling Systems in Eschweiler. Eschweiler is not a very large village and therefore there are also not that many places to stay the night 😄 From what I understand, the B&B Hotel used to be a Best Western Hotel. Before you can enter your room you have to type 7 digits, on the door handle which is in my opinion a bit overdone. The room itself was quite large, but this was because the receptionist apparently gave me (unsolicited) an upgrade/larger room. Price of the room is Euro 72,- . Something which surprises me still is that hotels often use carpet on the floor, which in my opinion is not really something of this time anymore. The room was equipped with the necessary items such as a seat with table, television, desk with chair and a electric kettle for instant coffee or tea. The bathroom was also ok, although I don't think a raised shower tray is an item which is very comfortable nowadays and certainly not quite easy for older guests. Breakfast was simple and what I have indicated already several times also in this hotel it is clearly a revenue model as well. Something I found remarkable was the fact that 2 different amounts for breakfast are on the hotel invoice, one for the dining part Euro 11 and one for the drinking part Euro 1.90.... I asked why this was and got as answer that it was because of the different tax, well they were 19% for both but ok... the fact remains that no one eats for euro 12.90 breakfast, so as said a good revenue model for any hotel chain.

I recently stayed at the B&B Hotel Eschweiler and unfortunately my stay didn't quite live up to my expectations. The positives first: The location of the hotel is quite convenient and close to the city center. The staff was also friendly and helpful.Unfortunately, there were several points that made my stay less pleasant. The room wasn't as clean as I expected. There was dust on the furniture and the carpet appeared stained. I also found hair on the floor in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant. The soap at the handwashing sink was not refilled, which I found to be negligent. In addition, there was no air conditioning in the room, although this was stated when booking. This made the nights very uncomfortable, especially in summer.Another problem was the entrance to the parking garage, which is very narrow and a challenge for larger cars. It was very difficult to park the car safely without fear of scratches or damage. The breakfast offering was quite simple and the selection was limited. The quality of the food also left something to be desired. For the price I would have expected more.Overall, my stay at the B&B Hotel Eschweiler was disappointing. There is certainly room for improvement, particularly in terms of cleanliness, noise control and the stated amenities. I hope the hotel addresses these issues soon to increase guest satisfaction.

The room was very dirty. Rims of drinks on the bedside table. The carpet unsucked. Animal hair was the worst thing, dogs are allowed, but contact lenses under the table in front of previous guests, hair in the bathroom... you don't want that. The advertised free water was missing. The breakfast selection was ok, but egg cups, toast, etc. were missing and were not refilled.A kind of cobblestones in front of the room make the nights restless. You can also hear every step from the room above, the hotel is very noisy.

- The location and the friendly staff are positive | - The rooms do not have a closet, just 3 small compartments in which you can put your clothes. …

We stopped here for an overnight stay on our way back from Brittany to Hamburg. This hotel was ideal for that. Clean, large and soberly furnished rooms. An uncomplicated and friendly check-in and a nice location right on the market square with many restaurants. An underground car park at affordable prices (10 €).

When I booked, I noticed that friendliness was very important. I had great advice from Mr. Meneti. On the day of arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Meneti. We really enjoyed our stay. We had nothing to complain about. Even my dog was warmly welcomed, something I've never experienced before. We can recommend this great hotel with a clear conscience!

We were there last year and thought it was ok.This time we were probably a bit unlucky. All in all it's still ok, but we had an attic room in very hot weather. Then it rained and we couldn't ventilate at night because there was a skylight. That wouldn't be so bad, but there was no air conditioning in the room, even though it said so in the description.Unfortunately the shower gel was empty, which we only noticed when we showered.I fully assumed that breakfast was included, but unfortunately we had to pay 12 euros per person early on. But that was probably my mistake. The garage is good and the price is OK. However, there must be a space available; reservations are not possible. The breakfast didn't have much choice and was hardly refilled, eggs and rolls were always empty, as was milk in the coffee machine. As I said, I think we were partly unlucky. For me it also looked like there was a staff shortage.
