Booked a room here in advance. After many, many hours of travelling, we arrived. We needed to sleep after travelling, but struggled as they were refurbishing the whole of the fourth floor! So it was relentless drilling and hammering. Not one member of staff had the courtesy to contact us before hand to say this was going to be taking place during our stay. I've recently checked their website, it states they will be having workers in to refurbish until 2025. So if you have a reservation booked between now and then, I recommend cancelling, and finding another hotel. This is just the beginning. :DThe day after, of course, we were woken up to more drilling and hammering. We actually had a knock from one of the workers, who had to work in the room while we were in there! Granted, it took no more than 5 minutes, but an inconvenience nevertheless.A few hours later, another knock on the door. We decided we didn't want to let anyone else in and ignored it. The hotel staff then proceeded to open our door and said we'd ordered room service. Not the case. I now have a hunch what it may have regarded. Read on :DThe day after, we left a do not disturb sign on the door and went out for the day. We came back to find our rooms had been entered... THEY TOOK OUT OUR DOUBLE BED WHICH WAS REQUESTED AND PAID FOR, AND SWAPPED IT WITH TWO SINGLES!!!!!! I'm still in absolute disbelief!!!!And my hunch was that they intended to do this when they knocked the day before. Anyway...I went straight downstairs to complain, was told the manager wasn't in until Monday by which we would be checked out and gone... We were offered another additional room, which doesnt make any sense to accept as a family of 3 with a young child. We were told they cant bring back the double bed which we'd slept in for two nights already and paid for!!!!!!!Free breakfast was offered.... which we declinded. I wish wish WISH someone informed us of the refurbishment before hand, so we could have booked else where for an actual BREAK. I'd rather be back home!!!! I have booked time off work, it's cost a lot of money, and we are not happy. Not one bit. A total waste of time and money if you ask me.The rooms are INCREDIBLY basic for the amount we paid. They advertise they have sky family on their tv, it doesn't work. We are limited to about 4 German channels.Had they given us the courtesy of informing us of the refurbishment, we would have absolutely cancelled and booked elsewhere, which I'm assuming they knew would be the case, so didn't bother to inform the guests before their arrival. So they blind sided us and took our money anyway! This is by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE HOTEL. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Wondering why they are currently knocking out all the furniture, mattresses, etc.? Because they have bedbugs and cockroaches... And at the same time they continue to receive hotel guests!!!! One receptionist pretends to be stupid and says that in Germany it is normal that there are bugs and that at her home they also appear (I recommend sometimes at least clean the house ... ). The other admitted that they know about the problem. SCANDAL!!! I have never encountered this anywhere.... And I have visited some countries....

Way too expensive for a very basic hotel. Everything is cut down to a bare minimum.Clean & friendly staff, though.

Very good hotel. Unlike many other hotels in Bad-Homburg, has air conditioning - extremely important in summer. Clean, perfectly located for travelling by train. Bathroom and bedding are perfect. I might suggest: (1) add fridge in each room (2) include breakfast into price instead of charging separately

Visited and reviewed this hotel a couple of years ago and now again in October 2023. Have to say that the hotel had lost a bit of the new freshness charm, with tear and wear taking over. Room felt and smelled less than clean. The carpets worn down to look scruffy. I skipped the included breakfast buffet and went for coffee and croissant at the train station instead.

Our family booked 2 rooms for one night a couple of weeks ago as a pitstop from Denmark to Switzerland. The hotel is clean and simple and offers your basic needs. The beds are comfortable with nice duvets and soft bedlinen. The location was next to the train station but it was quiet and clean neighbourhood. You can within 5 minutes walk go the small center at the station and shop in organic grocery store, Lidl or a local bakery that sold nice pastry and coffee before we head to Switzerland.

Very good hotel.Even if it is close to the trainstation, it is very quiet inside. From 7 PM to 9 AM you can park your car on the street for free (if there is enough space) and it is very safe to do it.The experience with the checking at night was really nice.Short distance from some Frankfurt places. Some parts of the room were not clean enough and the towel were taken away even if they weren't in the floor.

The hotel is simple but nice, cozy, clean, and comfortable. It is also near the train station, bus station, restaurants, and cafes thus it is very convenient for travelers. The breakfast choices could be improved but it is understandable because of the current pandemic situation. All in all, my stay for 9 nights was very comfortable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this hotel and will most likely choose to stay here in my next travels to Germany.

The hotel offers a clean pragmatic room. If you use the hotel to sleep, get breakfast and go to work the service is perfect. But don't expect a bar to have a drink, lounge area or comfartable room to hang out in.

Great for a spontaneous stay. Easy check in and no check out necessary. The room ist nice, a little bit cozy. Everything you needed was available. Only the bathroomdoor had no lock on it, but if you’re staying alone that’s no problem.
