Mega, Mega, Mega bad, deserves 0 stars, unfortunately that is not possible. (then minus 5 stars, otherwise that wouldn't be possible.STUPID, STUPID, STUPID that we got into this! 😰😡Guests who want to stay after us are hereby warned!!!!!Just don't do it, 100 meters further there is a 4 star hotel and that is € 20 more expensive than this one (€ 166) but is worth 20 stars more.In any case, we will never go there again, so abnormally bad, really not a part that deserves 1 star. !!!!!! !!

STUPID STUPID STUPID!!!Super stupid.Normally I look at the reviews, but unfortunately we were in a bit of a hurry because we wanted a hotel in Neuhausen quickly and the name Edelweiss attracted us and it was getting a little late.If only we had, what a drama at a high price. The rooms are very small, not even a bedside lamp fits on both sides of the bed as there is no space. To get into the mega-small shower cubicle, you have to climb over the toilet bowl, a vacuum toilet system. It's a shame that you can't give 0 stars. That was once, but never again, not to mention the breakfast, very poor with boxes of jam that were already 4 months out of date!! The coffee seemed as watery as tea etc etc.The host seems to have no interest in guests at all and snorts when you ask something. In the 65 years I have had hotels across Europe and the world, this has been the absolute downside of my life.Damn, so bad for €166 and then they even dare to use the word hotel on the facade.Really, really, really, a warning to anyone looking to book there!!!!Never start.Again, stupid, stupid, stupid, I should have read the reviews first because with the exception of a few they were all negative and bad and from experience that is the hard truth. 🤮😭😭😭There is no good word to say about this hotel which is actually worse than the cheapest hostel. We don't understand why guests still come to sleep here. (We were also the only 2 guests at “breakfast” after we woke up the innkeeper because he had overslept, the time for breakfast was at 8 a.m., but at 8:15 a.m. everything was still locked and we were standing outside in the light Rain to wait!)Here too 0 stars or -5 ***** minus. They were warned about this. It's a shame, especially the price, as there are very different prices on the internet. Not!! Never do that, it's a shame because it's such a beautiful area.Oh yeah, the “free” WiFi was actually free because it just wasn’t there. !!Rooms1.0Service1.0Location1.0RoomSuper small, only 2 sockets, 1 for the TV, 1 plastic bedside lamp. You have to leave the door open in the toilet, otherwise your knees won't fit!! And when you flush the toilet at night, everyone is awake because of the noise of the vacuum system. Not really quiet at night either, a lot of noise from the hallway and outside.Activities nearbyThe Schaffhausen Waterfalls, and it's worth itSecurityNo smoke detectors, no emergency exit or emergency exit.Eating and drinkingSimply deeply and deeply sad.

Disaster! Not a friendly place to stay. We arrived early around 2:30 pm. Hotel door is locked. There is a lady sitting outside table smoking. We asked if we could dropped off our luggages to Hotel. The lady refused and asked us come back at 4:00pm. So we had to currying luggages around. This town does not welcome travelers, we met another couple walking with their luggages. Luckily weather is good on outside, no rain.Public area is smoky, hallways smell so bad.

The hotel is located in Neuhausen close to the Rhine Falls. But it was a bit old and our room was very small. Breakfast included in the price was fine

Far too expensive for what is offered.Way too narrow. If you want to shower, you first have to step over the toilet. However, very well located. After a few minutes you are at the Rhine Falls.
