I wanted to reserve a room by phone this morning. Yes it was 7:59 am and I seem to have disturbed the owner in the bathroom.After I looked on the homepage, the opening time is unfortunately only from 11 a.m., so correctly, I disturbed the good man privately. I apologize for that.I'm just wondering if you give a phone number on the homepage that you can reach at any time, should you also expect that a customer doesn't first go to the homepage and check (it could be urgent) but instead directly calls the phone number of the hotel that he or she has found online via Google (without notice. Please do not disturb before 11 a.m.!!)A tip: you could only activate the phone number from 11 a.m. then you wouldn't be disturbed in your free time and you wouldn't have to "stupidly" talk to the customer on the phone.That's why I only give one star for service.

Since there is no separate page for bike rental, the review should probably be posted here.I have now ridden four times with cyclists who had rented an e-bike (women's, Prophet brand).The drive technology is a now outdated variant in which the motor hangs below the pedal axle. This is not a bad thing, but it should be noted that this is not about modern Bosch, Schimano etc. engines and their properties.What is negative is that the bikes cannot handle a tour of more than 30 km.So if you're looking for a bike for in and around Rappenau, you're in good hands, but if you want to do a tour of over 30km you should think twice.As I said, this is not an individual experience, but rather 4 tours with 4 different people with tours of around 40 km and each time the battery didn't last.

The room and bathroom were very clean.Room is functional... enough to sleep.Unfortunately, there was a very strong smell in my bathroom in the morning. This could have been resolved in a more friendly manner. In my opinion, the landlord's tone was wrong. The problem probably occurs more often.The breakfast has everything you need.Various sausages, cheese, jam, etc. Also fresh eggs.A big compliment, I got extra gluten-free rolls. That was really great.Without an incident with the innkeeper, the 2 nights would have been 5 stars

Very friendly boss, like the whole persona. Rich breakfast buffet, where the breakfast lady goes out of her way to look after her guests 👍. I had a hearty meal in the evening and can highly recommend the 3-course menu in the restaurant. I also spent the night very well 🌛. Gladly again. L, Greetings

The service at breakfast was satisfactory.Unfortunately, our room had no wardrobe or wardrobe. It had two TVs and a fitted kitchen! (was not needed) The bathroom was very nice and had enough storage space! When I asked the boss about another room, he only said that he didn't have one available! He at least gave us a few clothes hangers that we could attach to the large mirror!

Nice, very patient host. Unfortunately I had to witness how a guest from the German children's aid agency didn't want to pay for the room he had booked. Seriously embarrassing. But the good food had made up for the hassle of the embarrassing undertaking. By the way, great ambience in the old restaurant.

First of all, to one or two reviews here: If I expect a modern room, I should book a modern hotel.The Hotel Adler keeps what it promises on the inside. I think the rustic charm is appropriate, even though I'm not usually a fan of dark wood. ;-) I thought the creaking wooden stairs alone were great. We had a room in the NEW category. You may find the furnishings old-fashioned, but I personally think they are just right for the hotel.What struck me as particularly positive: the room was really VERY clean. I have also had the opportunity to experience this in a more expensive and modern way.A bonus for us was the ability to take our dog with us.All the employees were super nice. I was able to easily book breakfast for my wife, who is in Bad Rappenau for rehab. So we were able to have breakfast together and she had a change from the hospital food. Everything was very problem-free.The breakfast was very tasty and nothing was missing. They were also very patient with us when we went over breakfast with so much chatting. Thanks again at this point.Unfortunately we didn't try the hot food, but it smelled fantastic and I heard from other spa guests that it tasted just as good.Direct proximity to the town, spa clinics within walking distance.If I have to stay overnight in Bad Rappenau again, I definitely know where.

Apartment 7 is okay.Eating in the restaurant was a disgrace, we were very hungry and opted for the 24 euro steak plate.A joke, 3 small pieces of meat that you could x-ray with a flashlight, the fried potatoes were tasteless and the vegetables zero points and then the price.At the Greek restaurant you get three times as much for a grill plate and pay 10 euros less and you don't have to talk about the taste.

The food there is very tasty! Everything prepared by the owner himself.Everyone was very friendly. The rooms are very clean. I can't understand some of the reviews that say the rooms are outdated. This is just an old house! I find the rooms quaint and it fits the style. If I want a more upscale room, then I have to go to a more upscale hotel where you will probably have to pay more.The price-performance ratio is absolutely right!There was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet.All in all, I was very satisfied and can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The room was an imposition. The foot of the bed was also provided with wooden blocks and a screw clamp. A cleaning bucket was the bathroom trash can. Smoke detector was missing...The room was totally shabby and outdated. Only star, it was clean. Price reduction for the room is far from the mark. Statement from the boss: "I can, but I don't want to." That's called customer friendliness!
