I am referring to our booking in your hotel from September 8th to 10th, 2024.  We deliberately chose this hotel because it is offered as a wellness hotel and we were hoping for two days of relaxation. …

Friendly, courteous staff. Very dog-friendly, our dog got her own bed, a drinking and eating bowl and a surprise package that included a chewing stick, a pack of dry food and a poop bag. Cozy terrace where we enjoyed one or two drinks. Small but nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel itself is very pretty and has a nice view. It's a bit out of the way, but that didn't bother us. But what really bothered us was the service. We had booked through mydays and called an employee in advance to book two rooms. She confirmed this and made the booking. When we arrived there was only one room available. The other had to be prepared. We had to wait more than 40 minutes for this. The room was then half-stroppyly prepared. The bed for example was very carelessly done.No one apologized for the wait and when it was ready we received an information sheet. I then asked when checkout was, the gentleman at reception then said: “Read this, it’s all here.” But no, it didn't say checkout time.Everything was fine until checkout. We were just surprised by an employee who always touched us when we walked past and talked to us and made jokes that we didn't understand. That was a bit uncomfortable. When we checked out shortly before 10 a.m. there was no one from reception. They said someone wouldn't come until 12 p.m. We had to pay the tourist taxes for both rooms and that's what I wanted to do. But there was only one bill available. The other one doesn't. I had €10 in cash and wanted to pay it off. The gentleman who usually works in the kitchen and couldn't do anything about it insisted that I had to pay by card because the boss wanted it that way. I then wanted to do that, but he said I could only pay one bill. Or I should come again at 12 p.m. Finally I left my email address and they sent me the €10 bill. Unfortunately, I now pay unnecessary fees because I transfer from Switzerland to Germany.I have already given the hotel my feedback. I hope you accept this constructive criticism and learn from it.

Was ideal for us. We were looking for a little peace and relaxation and that's what we found. Room 1 star less because there were some cobwebs on the high ceiling of the junior suite. But otherwise very good.Upon request: The breakfast was perfect. It had a certain selection of everything. Of course not an infinite number of types of cheese or meat, it doesn't make sense given the size of the hotel. Service was on point! Thank you.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!It was not stated anywhere that it was an infrared sauna instead of a Finnish sauna. The explanation of the sauna in the room was so cumbersome and only in German that we did not enter the sauna. The evening meal was really on the bad side. The starter was tasty but the main course was downright disgusting. The price was around 70 euros without dessert!!!Especially in a German hotel, the least you can have on the menu is fries and a schnitzel. The beds were okay, but the pillow was very soft. The breakfast was reasonable, but it was a pity that there was no fresh orange juice. This is a very small effort and for 220 euros for a night this should certainly be included. The employee in the morning was friendly, but the hostess who received us was not very hospitable…For this money it could really be a lot better and also better explanations and descriptions in English.

We booked the hotel because the photos and description gave the impression that this was a quiet house on a natural property. …

I don't understand the negative reviews at all.We booked the junior suite with whirlpool bathtub. The room was large and very nicely decorated. It has a huge bathroom. We also had a large balcony. The employees were without exception warm and friendly to us. Since there weren't many guests, the breakfast was also designed for that, but everything was there and very nicely presented. I had scrambled eggs made for me, my partner had fried eggs, there were different types of sausage and cheese, freshly sliced melon, juices, tomato mozzarella, etc...The reception area was very nicely decorated and we were also allowed to check out later. We would come back at any time. ❤️

Customer satisfaction has no importance here. We had booked the junior suite for a weekend. My partner and I paid €80 for 2 people for a 3-course meal. The main course was inedible for us. We were asked if we wanted to order something else, but we decided not to because we weren't convinced by the cooking skills and quality of the ingredients. As compensation we were offered sparkling wine, but it was stale so I couldn't drink it. The boss had a different opinion and then you as a guest are just out of luck. He said the food tasted good, he had tested it himself and the champagne wasn't stale. He didn't want to talk about it any further. My feeling: It's trying to be uplifted, but it's not. The only thing that is upscale are the prices. Although the Junior Suite is a nice room, it would be better placed in the double room with bathtub category. Unfortunately not recommended. The only praise goes to the employees. Very friendly and accommodating.Picture: You can already see in the picture how dry the potato gratin is, the meat is swimming in an over-salted sauce and the crowning glory is the overcooked beans. Bon appetit

Very bad price-performance ratio:Sauna (there is only one sauna here) is not included in the standard room rate and costs 19 euros extra per person. The room only has minimal amenities (no kettle or water) and has received a major face lift. There are still some signs of wear and tear. The employee who greeted us reacted to our comment about the sauna in a very unpleasant way, which made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff the next morning were very friendly and responded well to our criticism. Nevertheless, we cannot recommend the hotel more highly.

We had a room 202 facing the forestThere are probably drag races taking place on the main road at night, it sounds like we closed the window. In the morning at 6:30 a.m. you are woken up by a food processor, which we didn't think was great. The dog bed was still full of hair from the previous one. A thorough cleaning would probably be in order. The breakfast buffet could be more extensive. The golf course is on the doorstep and you can watch the lawn being mowed on Sunday morning.
