One of the best locations, rooms are clean, service is excellent. These people will go extra mile to make your stay more then brilliant. Im impressed with all the effort they put to satisfy a customer’s needs. Hospitality is at great level and I will definitely be back. I do recommend the place by all means.

It was just Amazing. Place owner was very kind. When we came as group of hikers, she gave us three hotel rooms for special price. Rooms were clean and all of them had an amazing view on nerby mountains.

Despite a mistake on our part when booking, we received a warm welcome. The rooms are simply furnished and perfectly adequate for our purposes. A bit noisy, but we were so tired after the hike to Schrecksee that it didn't matter. The shared bathroom is renovated and was clean. The dinner was delicious and there was something for everyone at breakfast. What stands out is the hospitality. We felt very comfortable.The location is of course ideal for a wide range of activities. There are bus stops near the hotel. We were able to park directly at the hotel.As soon as we're back in the area we'll be back!

Cheapest guesthouse in the area. If you expect a lot, you don't have to come here. You are thrown back 50 years, so a must for retro lovers 😀. Stable furniture, comfortable bed.The manager of the house, super nice and helpful, conjures up a delicious meal late in the evening.We'll definitely be back.

On the bike trip from Chemnitz to Hinterstein and on to Lake Constance. The operator is uncomplicated and there for the guests, although there is obviously a lot of work to be done in this large, older house. Rooms very clean, not modern, but solid. Breakfast great. We'd love to come back!

It is the closest hotel if you want to hike to Schrecksee, but you have to say that the staff seems very confused and disorganized. After we ordered it took 20 minutes to tell us that the soup of the day was out and we were then given garlic bread instead, but the second garlic bread was forgotten. After a full 45 minutes we got our food and you have to say, you noticed that no one in the kitchen had any cooking training, which makes little sense in a hotel restaurant. Overall, you can only give a second star for the view and the location, unfortunately it wasn't enough for more.

Very friendly and understanding treatment of guests. The new owners of the hotel are very hospitable and accommodating, you feel very comfortable. The location and the view of the hotel are beautiful. The food was also very tasty and inexpensive, just right after a long hike.

Unfortunately, the hotel is really, really old-fashioned, the interior looks like nothing has changed since 1970 (it probably hasn't). The room was clean, but the owners were very confused, didn't even know how long we were staying there and whether we had already paid, even though we booked through booking.com. Unfortunately, the food was very sobering for the prices and has very little in common with traditional Allgäu cuisine. Unfortunately, you can tell that this hotel is run exclusively for profit and there is little heart and love behind it. However, the location and the view from our room were great. Nevertheless, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stop here, as there are much better alternatives in the area.
