Hello we just booked in. Place looks great, however there is a lock on the sauna. Is there a code somewhere in the room we have overlooked?

Absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the forest huts and really enjoyed it. The barn invites you to linger, there is everything you need to cook. A microwave with grill function is also available. Everything is clean and tidy. The "small" breakfast on Saturday is more than sufficient. Super friendly staff and owners. The area is also very nice, away from the hustle and bustle of Hamburg.

We were there today quite spontaneously. Coffee was solid but cake was too dry for us and the piece was very small for the price. Unfortunately, I didn't see anywhere that card payments were only offered from €15 onwards and it wasn't communicated proactively. We were just under €13. I was told to ask first whether card payment was ok. I then had to buy a beer for just under €5 so we could pay. A pity! Not suitable for people without cash who just want to drink coffee.

We are just disappointed for this price. 7 days for €800 is definitely too much.Based on the pictures we expected a very high quality apartment, what we got was a run down apartment. We looked for a wardrobe until the day we left. There wasn't one there. We lived out of a suitcase for 7 days. The walls may have once been white, but they haven't been that way for a long time. There are pans in the kitchen that cannot be used on the induction stove. In general everything was very dusty and not clean. We didn't even see the landlords. Everything is very impersonal.Pillows on the bed were stained and there was only one bedside lamp. The poster attached to the wall is also only hanging in tatters. The only positive thing is the view of a small tributary of the Elbe (pond), which promised more on the homepage pictures, namely the view of the Elbe. And the sauna (which could not be used due to a lack of instructions. We couldn't reach the landlord by phone either)We will definitely not stay here again, let alone recommend it to others.

So I neither ate dry cake here nor found an apartment that had been run down!I am more than satisfied with the service and the quick contact from the landlord!I don't know what some people imagine when they book a holiday apartment in an old farmhouse, but me and my family are absolutely thrilled by this charm!Cozy, totally quiet, romantic, beautiful in nature and you feel right at home! There is no need for a reception where someone can be reached 24 hours a day and would even be out of place because it would then spoil this very familiar atmosphere! In addition, the very well edited website of this accommodation offers a complete overview and leaves no questions unanswered. You just have to read them...and if you still have questions, the landlords will give you immediate answers or help.We will definitely recommend this accommodation.
