DisappointingThe accommodation has the charm of a youth hostel from the 60s. I have no idea how it could be rated so highly. The room was cute, the bathroom with toilet was a compromise on one and a half square meters. The heating has lost the battle against the cold at night. The quiet location is often praised in reviews. That may be true if the planes fly to a different runway. The house is in the middle of the flight path. Conclusion: You could say that if you pay little, you get little. But €70 far outside the city center isn't a great bargain, even if the Elbe suburb is really nice.

"The hotel impressed us with its cleanliness - everything was clean and well maintained. Even though the facility is a bit older, it is in good condition and functional. The check-in process was completely online, which saved us a lot of time. Especially The extras in the room were pleasant, such as a kettle and free tea, coffee and water. The free parking spaces directly at the hotel are also a big plus. The location on a quiet side street ensures a relaxed atmosphere, but the hotel is still well connected to explore the surrounding area. Overall a very pleasant stay with great value for money!"

Simple, clean room in the BEST location. 10 minutes walk to the banks of the Elbe and 20 minutes walk to Blankenese. Was there for the SMM Maritim trade fair in Hamburg and the price was “normal” despite the trade fair. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay overnight and can do without luxury, you have come to the right place.

After an uncomplicated check-in via phone call and key box, we went to my small single room. Everything was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Small but nice. ;-)Perfectly sufficient for an overnight stay if you want to visit a lot during the day and there is little in the room. The boarding house is located in a quiet area, it is only a 10-minute walk to the nearest S-Bahn connection. All in all, I am very satisfied and would use this house again.

I rated the service with 5 stars, even though there is hardly any staff to be seen, which is known in advance. Telephone inquiries were answered quickly and very friendly in advance. The room was very well maintained and clean. Everything you need for a visit to the city is there. The location is great! In the countryside, quiet and a great bus connection if you want to go to the city... and back. I can only recommend it. Martina from Berlin

The heating in the bathroom was removed, which I personally don't like, a cold bath in the morning is not my favorite! The room itself is large and has a nice table that can also be used to work with a laptop. The sockets are right above the head of the bed - I don't think it's a good solution either... The service was very nice and accommodating - but I probably wouldn't book again. Parking spaces are available, but are very poorly laid out and are usually blocked by other vehicles or difficult to access. There would be enough space (estimated there would have been enough space for around 9 cars - 4 vehicles could actually be parked - signs or floor markings would be helpful here).

Quiet location, self-check-in easy. Simple room. Bed was big and comfortable. The room was a bit noisy, meaning you could hear our neighbors' door loudly in the morning. Carpeted floor. Otherwise everything was tip top.

All in all, a very good accommodation with small rooms at fair prices that offer what the expensive hotels also offer. Some would say the bathroom is a bit small but it's enough for the money you pay and get in the end.
