Hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice, big, spacious twin room with a fan and plenty of windows to keep cool during the night. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options available from cold meats and cheese, fresh fruit and hot cooked food. Perfectly positioned for the centre of town and we were visiting for the local wine festival which had was just around the corner. Highly recommended

Full disclosure, I've only seen a hotel room. It is all about the restaurant and outstanding food and service our party of six enjoyed. Germany has so much to offer, but prompt, friendly service in a restaurant stands out the rare times it is experienced. Fortunately, the food, wine and beer were equally good. Classic regional dishes.

We stayed here for the second time and again we were not disappointed. Friendly service, very good breakfast (inspite of Corona restrictions). ||We enjoyed the collection of paintings and of course appreciated the free parking.||We will be back!

What a fantastic find! We couldn't have been happier with our corner room on the hottest record breaking days of the summer. A ceiling fan and extra floor fan along with the windows on 2 sides kept us more than comfortable. After 2 weeks of fantastic breakfasts in Germany and Austria, we found perfection in tiny Volksach! Such variety and excellence is unparalleled! The service was fantastic. The restaurant is open 3 nights a week. You HAVE to try it if you are lucky enough to be there when it is open. We were fortunate enough to be there during pfifferling season (the local mushroom delicacy). We added a steak which was prepared to perfection. The best of many excellent meals we have had on our trip. Enjoying a locally grown and produced Franken wine is a definite must. The owner/chef should be far more famous than he is. Try a stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten. We loved every minite of our stay in this charming town and lovely hotel.

Nice hotel in the cernter of Volkach. Clean and individual style rooms with modern appliances. GooD Wifi. Had dinner in the hotel which was also very tasty. Good selection of local wines. Friendly service.
