This is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. It is a room upstairs over a restaurant and bar. The room was quite comfortable and the host was very nice. Noise from the restaurant was not a problem. Breakfast was good.  …

The room, location and folks who worked here were exceptional and the food was awesome. we had a great experience here and it's location was close to the train station. Loved it. We would definitely stay here again. The price of the room was good and the only drawback was we shared a bathroom but that was not an issue.

The Gasthof is close to the public swiming pool {be aware, more for children, it is small and deep only 140 cm} and almost in the middle of the beautiful city Miltenberg. …

It may be old but that's the charm of the place. It's all about the personality and "gemütlichkeit" that people have here. Breakfast was good, bed was even better (soft as I like it).Great service was a morning call, to ask if I wanted breakfast before they clean it all up.Stayed for 1 night for work, could stay a week.

Comfortable room, once you get used to the creaking since its in a very old building. Our room was under the roof, with a big wooden beam running through it. Nice view over the roof tops of castle Miltenberg. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Great location, but we did have to wait 20+ minutes to check in since nobody was in-house!

This hotel sure has seen better days. It´s rather old, as already mentioned several times here. The rooms were okay, but nothing fancy. Considering the price, you´d sure expect more. The location is more than perfect, but well... if you´re expecting anything fancy, don´t.

CALL AHEAD OF TIME. Do NOT book through external sites and check their business hours. We booked through booking.com and we showed up and it was closed for the weekend. Not a great experience. I sure it's a great hotel, the hours are inconvenient for travel.

The price definitely does not reflect the performance. When you enter the inn you are greeted by a wall of cold smoke. Check-in somehow works, even if we never received a bill. The rooms have the charm of the 90s. Beds and sofa that scare you to use. The mattress was very saggy. The bathroom was very narrow, fittings were broken. Hot water came at some point. Toothbrush cups were made of hard plastic and screamed loudly of the 80s.Breakfast - ready-made rolls, cold cuts from the pack. No vegetables, no fruit. The butcher would be right next door and the baker would be within a very short walking distance. It would be so easy...Only the location is ok. And the landlord at least tries very hard.

The hotel is very conveniently located, centrally in town. But that is the only advantage. The rooms are rather tired and I had to wait about a quarter of an hour for warm water to shower. A fellow traveler complained on the first day that there were no programs on the television. Nothing happened until we left after six days. Breakfast is a disaster! Stale rolls, for three people e.g. three small slices of black pudding. We had to puzzle over it. I don't "do" scrambled eggs, vegetables, yoghurt! Maybe okay for one night, but with the same mini-offer six times, impossible! There are a number of bakeries in the area where you could buy fresh bread rolls without much effort. The restaurant is open Mon-Fri from 5 p.m. The demand is rather manageable. At around 8 p.m. we were slowly asked to leave. Nothing like a cozy evening of cards.
