My wife and I spent three days here and never regretted a minute of it. We were greeted so friendly and pleased with the service. We were able to use their garden to drink a glass of wine and we couldn't believe our eyes at the beauty of it all. I can recommend this hotel without a doubt.

If you just want to sleep in this beautiful house, you might be wrong. The rooms are decorated with old furniture, countless pictures, works of art and here and there a bit of kitsch. Our bedroom was very spacious with excellent beds. There is a lovingly landscaped garden and a varied breakfast. My compliments to the hosts. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.

I stayed at Saxonia for one night. Unbeatable location, less than 10 minutes from the train station. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the city center. Very nice reception, WiFi worked throughout the house without any problems. The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail - a feast for the eyes. The room, as requested, on the 1st floor was quiet. The bathroom is very small, the shower feels even smaller. The shower door barely closed. The breakfast buffet is also lovingly prepared, BUT what use is the most beautiful and good quality buffet if only baked rolls, cheap frozen goods, are offered (picture). That's not possible in my opinion. I'm happy to pay 2-3 euros more and expect bakery quality. So I switched to brown bread. Conclusion: Saxonia is ok as long as you are willing to make concessions.

I can't necessarily share the many positive experiences.Positive things to mention are the really great location, the cheapest public parking options nearby and the friendly welcome. Also that we were given a room at the back as requested. So we could actually sleep with the window open, as we are used to. However, sleeping is an exaggeration because a bed creaks so loudly with every movement that you end up lying awake more than you can sleep. In addition, other guests, who probably had at least two unconnected rooms, were talking in the hallway at six in the morning and knocked on the corresponding room door beforehand as if they were alone in the hotel. Of course the hotel can't do anything about that, but it still wasn't a good experience for us. After it was finally quiet, we actually fell asleep again, so we didn't show up for breakfast until 8:30 a.m., which was certainly within the time period mentioned. We were greeted with the words, “You are the last,” which sounded like an accusation to us. The selection of side dishes as well as fruits and cereals was actually good. The boiled eggs served were lukewarm and the coffee was extremely thin. We found the rolls to be the worst. These cheap baked bread rolls are only edible immediately after baking. Ours, which were just leftovers anyway, had probably been there since 6 a.m. They were a real disgrace; even sausage and cheese or delicious jam were of no use. Overall we were disappointed. Too bad.

I can only recommend! We spent a weekend in this extraordinary, lovingly furnished old villa and felt completely at home. The hostesses were always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Nothing is missing, whether a fridge, kettle, cotton pads or umbrella - everything is available in the room.Delicious breakfast buffet with a large selection and nothing was missing. There is a beautiful garden behind the house where you can comfortably drink your coffee. In just a few minutes you can walk to the Kurgarten in the city center. We would like to come again.

Nice cozy hotel. The operators are friendly and helpful. Clocks, pictures and vases hang or stand everywhere. My single room was comfortable and functionally furnished. The breakfast had everything you needed and was really good.
