Room was great value for money, clean enough space and small extras such as 3 pillows or 3 towels per person are positive.Service was good, breakfast could have been better, but since it was included you can't complain.Great location, city bakery directly opposite, many wineries and 2 restaurants within easy walking distance.

There is no check-in here, just a personal and warm welcome. The rooms are rather sober, but clean and functional. The town offers various restaurants that have different opening times. Alternatively, from the Gasthof Krone you can easily reach the banks of the Main (~250 meters) and experience the predominantly pleasant SUPers, swimmers, rowers and also, unfortunately, annoying hands-free business idiots - thankfully these were not found in the Krone! .However, other guests said that they had to carry out extensive rearrangement work late in the evening (~11:30 p.m.) and then had to complete, continue or undo this very early the next morning (~5 a.m.) - a personal, two-way conversation 5:05 a.m. gave me some sleep.A nice rustic breakfast with also attentive service made the day start all the better.Thank you for a pleasant overnight stay.ALEX

An incredibly great hotel. A journey back in time, when guests were greeted personally by the bosses and had time to chat. The rooms very clean. Breakfast has a wide selection and is always replenished. The outdoor area impresses with beautiful plants. We will come more often.

Quite an old-fashioned hotel without its own parking lot. Furnishings are predominantly dark wood, carpet and older tiles/windows. Very clean and quiet. The owner is friendly and you can also eat breakfast outside in the courtyard, which is very pretty, but inside it feels a bit depressing.

Super friendly and personable owner. The rooms and the building are very rustic, but they fit in wonderfully with the rest of the place. No own parking spaces, but there is a free large parking lot right on the Main in a minute's walk. The area is tailored to tourism. That's why there are plenty of options if you want to eat something. The rooms are clean, which they should be given the prices. The only drawback is that the guesthouse does not have WiFi.

The rooms in the Gasthaus Krone are getting a bit old. A modernization/renovation would certainly do good. The price for a double room at 78 euros can certainly be described as sporty for what is offered here. …

We had a Christmas party with the FTH here in 2018.It was an absolute disaster - the service was totally overwhelmed and unfriendly (as there was another Christmas party taking place at the same time). There wasn't even Coca-Cola to drink. Only Afri-Cola and that ran out. When I said that I didn't want wine but cola, the waitress aggressively took the glasses away from the table. I just don't like wine. What should little children drink?I hadn't ordered an appetizer in advance. Nevertheless, there were 2 appetizer plates left over. Then she actually tried to give me one of the two plates and then got even angrier when I said "no".The main course was goose (which I also ordered), which was cut into slices. It was then not served in the table order. First the food was put in front of all the females - the other food (e.g. loins) was also put in front of the women first, although these sometimes took even longer than the goose. At some point I got understandably louder and then got my goose, 2.5 hours later when we entered the restaurant. Of course the food was already half cold and I only ate a little bit. Then the waitress was angry again. “But you haven’t eaten much.” What's the point of such a comment? I can/may eat as much as I want.I didn't stay for dessert anymore.Actually zero stars!
