Nice location right on the Main.Parking space for bicycles.Breakfast ok. Mold in the bathroom. Rooms rather okay. Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't really clean.Maybe for one night, but that was it.

We felt very comfortable with the Ritter family. The room (21) was a pleasant size, airy and really quiet at night; we found the bed comfortable.There was no bell ringing from the neighboring church between 9:45 p.m. and 7 a.m. 😉.We were able to bring our small dog with us without any problems or extra charge.Breakfast was served as requested in the impressive “Knight's Hall” and we enjoyed it.The path to the Main is short and invites you to take a walk.The price-performance ratio is right.All in all a pleasant stay in a beautiful old building.

Don't expect a sleek design, but zum schwarzen adler offers an old-fashioned friendly overnight stay with German history. The rooms are basic but spacious and the beds sleep wonderfully. The bathroom is very clean. The breakfast is very tasty with fresh rolls, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jams, etc. and the friendly host can tell you endlessly about the building and the surrounding area. We learned that the building dates from 1307 and used to be part of the castle. The breakfast room contains various objects from the castle, which is privately owned and therefore unfortunately cannot be viewed. Nearby is a very nice Italian restaurant. Also recommended

I booked this hotel for my wife, who needed an overnight stay near Schweinfurt. As soon as she arrived, she called me and told me her troubles. Room dingy, noisy (coughing clearly audible from the next room!) General condition: low standard; suitable as an overnight stay for fitters. Uncomfortable. Not recommended!
