We ate here in the beer garden, schauferla and schnitzel cordon bleu, absolutley outstanding.This is a great place, food is really outstanding, 5 stars. Chefs, awesome.Building is awesome. Very friendly staff.But......The service. It took almost 10 minutes to get a beer (and it wasn't really busy) and it then the beer wasn't that cold.The waitresses don't take orders on the way back to the bar (ie multi task), I've seen a single waitress in southern Bavaria look after the whole restaurant single handedly and never a beer empty!You then (try) and ask for the bill then they come over, back to the bar......come back, 'cash or card' ......back again, you get the picture.It's what Germans call 'chicky-micky'. If they can get the service up there then wow, sorted.

We regularly stop over for lunch when travelling by. The service is quick, prices are affordable and food is good. The bonus is a non stop kitchen. We never needed more than 45 minutes which makes this place timewise comparable to fastfoods (unless you are using drive theough), but food is much more better.

We had dinner with 5 family members. The food AND service were ok. Untill the deserts. The ordered ‘waffel’ on the picture looked as a ‘Belgian waffel’ and we were really looking forward to it. What a dissapointment! …

Just off the autobahn, we usually stay at Gasthof Lamm. On this occasion we decided to try this hotel and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and efficient and our room, although basic, was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and plenty to choose from.

Geiselwind is a charming village just off the motorway and the Hotel Stern is in the market place. A lovely old building which is surprisingly large (there is a modern extension at the back) and there was plenty of parking. …

Nice hotel: clean room, good food, not much breakfast choice, but not bad. We stop here for 1 night on our way to Austria, so for that one night this is a good choice, also pricewise.
