Nice personnel, deco and overall atmosphere. As to the food, the quality generally/almost fits the higher price tag. Though we were positive about the first dishes we tried, which were excellent (risotto; octopus) my partner and myself were somewhat less convinced by the main dishes: Too much seasoning, in both cases (duck; beef). The seasoning in both cases was original and interesting, but used in excessive quantity, too strongly covering the taste of the (high-quality) meat.

We ate in the restaurant again and it was again very, very good. The menu with the description of the dishes is already sensational. We had the duck and prawns with spaghetti. Both were very good and tasted impressive. We didn't stay in the hotel and therefore can't rate the rooms.

I can only report about the restaurant. I've been living in Winsen for a while now and have only now paid attention to this piece of gold. You ring the doorbell. This is unusual, but we immediately felt like we were staying with friends. The food was very attractively prepared and extremely tasty, the spices were perfectly balanced. We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks also to the unobtrusive yet present service.

I had already eaten with these hosts several years ago when their restaurant was still based in Bahlburg. Now we have finally made it again on the occasion of a special birthday and what can I say - fantastic? Delicious? A poem?All of it.The scallop for the starter was so incredibly tasty prepared with wonderful flavors and also a feast for the eyes. The duck that followed was incredibly tender, juicy and so well seasoned that you would have liked to preserve the taste. In addition, cleverly grated Brussels sprouts with chervil root - an exciting and excellent experience.There must be something special about dining here, but we certainly won't wait 18 years again!!

We were there for dinner and reserved a table at short notice. That worked very well, even though the restaurant was busy.The service is first class. Always there, always polite, friendly and never gives the impression of being intrusive.The food is excellent and the menu itself is a small experience.Here the team goes to work with fun and passion.

The rating is for the first-class restaurant and service. If you want to have a very, very good meal again, I can only warmly recommend this restaurant! I would say that if you haven't eaten here, you're definitely missing out. Food was absolutely great and already has star level for me! The chef prepared this meal with so much love and passion, it is simply incredible and unparalleled. Service was also excellent, always attentive and always with a funny saying. We'll definitely come back again. Thank you so much for this taste explosion on a completely different level.

On our way back from Lüneburg, we happened to become aware of this inn through the reviews because we were interested in a country inn and were very impressed! rewarded. We would love to sign up for the newsletter so that we are always ready for the changing menu (very brilliant!).
