We celebrated my parents' golden wedding anniversary at the Alte Sägerei in Hohnstorf and couldn't be happier!The atmosphere was simply fantastic, with great attention to detail in the furnishings and high-quality furnishings.The food was excellent and the service was first class – we felt completely at home. We would also like to particularly emphasize the professional and pleasant preliminary discussions when planning our celebration. There was really nothing to complain about.We also booked a holiday apartment, which was also incredibly beautiful. It was furnished to a very high standard, extremely clean and the transaction with the hosts went smoothly.We recommend the Alte Siegerei without reservation and would like to thank you very much for this unforgettable celebration!It was incredibly beautiful!!Kind regards Maren and family

We were able to celebrate my mother's birthday with around 25 guests in the Alte Sägerei. The location is really beautiful and stylish. The food was excellent, the service was great. Overall, the celebration was a complete success; there was nothing we could criticize. Absolutely recommended!

On August 3rd celebrated a big birthday again in the old sawmill with 24 people. An all-round successful event, super nice service, very pleasant atmosphere, decorated with a lot of love, more than enough and extremely delicious food. Add to that “imperial weather”, nothing more is possible. We say thank you and it certainly wasn't our last celebration there.

Dear Meissner family!We felt we were in really good hands with you to celebrate our (cumulative) 145th birthday. The preparatory advice was perfect, all wishes were taken into account and the food and drinks on offer were very well chosen. The banquet table was wonderfully and tastefully decorated. On a very warm summer day in August 2023, we spent an unforgettable day with you in a wonderful ambience. Our children celebrated their wedding here. An incredibly beautiful location with a great, very friendly team. The furnishings, with great attention to detail and the beautiful table decorations also made this day a very special experience. As a funeral speaker, I was allowed to take part in the funeral coffee and was thrilled! I was impressed by the atmosphere of the rooms, the friendliness of the operators and the service, as well as the rich food. The butter cake was like grandma's and there were fresh sandwiches and no dry slices of bread!I can only recommend this location for such and similar occasions. Always my pleasure!!!

We were there on April 30, 2023 for a confirmation and I'm still thrilled! The ambience both inside and outside is simply enchanting and the hosts are very attentive and pleasant in their service! You can tell that this place has been decorated with great attention to detail. We all immediately felt as comfortable as if it were our own home. The outdoor area with garden and large lawn was an Eldorado for the children and so it was a wonderful day for everyone! Once again a big thank you to the hosts😀

If you want to celebrate a wedding, a birthday or other event, you've come to the right place!The host Kirsten is also a gifted cook and baker with heart and soul.I'd love to come back!
