When I arrived at 10pm, no one was in the building. Even though I received a confirmation that late arrival was accepted. If the very nice lady who lives there doesn't help, I'd still be standing there looking for my keys at the front desk. The next day, the owner forgot to apologize for the inconvenience. Of course he billed the full price. I think that was the last time I slept there. The breakfast was just up to par.

This is a very comfortable, wam, and friendly family run hotel. While a small hotel likely focused on hosting short term visitors, they were very accommodating of my 14 day stay and requirements of services they didnt offer as part of their booking. Their restaurant, which seems very popular as the nearby community's closest focused restaurant, is understated. It claims to offer simple fare but they are overly humble with what their chef offers up; local cuisine that is hearty, healthy, and warming of the soul (my stay was in late fall 2017). The views from the room define the term bucolic and with the fall season, picture postcard. The staff are very friendly and easily helpful to a non German speaking guest, going out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel also has a fantastic pub that is rustic and old style in feel. Coupled with the excellent food, this place more than deserves its rated official 3 stars.

Super nice hotel restaurant in beautiful surroundings. We spent a long weekend here to ride a motorcycle in the area. Reserving the rooms was easy even though it was last minute. Rooms large, beds good and shower excellent. Breakfast fine and sufficient. Dinner was great, I had a delicious meal there and the service was very friendly and prompt, despite it being quite busy on a Saturday evening. A shelter for motorcycles was even recently created, so the motorcycle is nice and dry. Definitely a place where we will return again soon!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. The restaurant conjures up a rural atmosphere. Sit down at the table for two and immediately enjoy the view of the Wiedtal. By the way, every table has a beautiful view. The restaurant offers its hotel guests a beautiful spaceDinner is neatly served. The munu offers various types of meat or trout for the enthusiast. The meal is served quickly, hot and professionally. Both the Grillteller and Scweinebraten with Pfifferlinge are lavish. In terms of quantity and quality, this restaurant is highly recommended. Finally, the staff is friendly and kind.
