The basement bedroom was dark but the bedroom above, which was reached by a windy staircase, was bright and airy. Both bedrooms were a good size and very clean. The bathroom was very new with a good shower.  …

Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. The room was rather small but for 1 person it was okay.

Hotel kugel is actually located on the other side of the Mosel from the old city of Trier. It took us around 15 minutes by car to get to the city centre. Since we were by car, this wasn't a problem for us. …

The worst (of the poorest quality or the lowest standard; least good or desirable) Hotel so far i have ever visited in Germany. The rooms were Dirty and laundry were not clean and the Staff was Super Duper RUDE. Rooms on the Second Floor were stinking with Cigarette Smell. I will personally not recommend the Hotel to anyone until and unless you just wanted to spoil you Trip/Stay.The Staff do not know the Meaning of the Word Service and Guests and their RUDE Behavior was the worst thing.

This is a truly, super little hotel with great owners, friendly and welcoming staff and locals and a superb restaurant. The food is beautifully cooked and presented and I believe the chef, is also the owner?I was only here for 2 nights, but I have decided that I'll definitely be going back for a much longer visit. My room was comfortable with en-suite facilities and cable TV which showed some English speaking channels and live sports.Nice location, free WiFi and free parking. Highly recommended.

We were greeted by a helpful receptionist, though her English was very broken, and stumbled through her explanations. …

It was our second time in Kugel. The staff was always nice and fexible, we were perfectly welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the inside of the hotel is beautiful and the shower was fantastic. We already recommended this hotel the first time and we gladly do it again this time, we definitely will be going back.

The worst hotel so far I have visited in Germany. The rooms were dirty, the laundry were not clean and staff were super rude. Rooms on first and second floor stink of cigarettes. They have not taken proper precautions even during the corona pandemic. Hotel is not safe at all and anyone can enter into the hotel.I will not recommend this hotel to anyone until you want to spoil your trip then you are welcome to book.

We stayed two nights Friday and Saturday in September, and really just slept there. As other reviewers mentioned, there was a strong cigarette smoke smell about the place. Because of this we didn't want to eat in the restaurant. …
