Unfortunately just outside of Bad Ems near the Westbahnhof and an industrial area. The house and the rooms are a little old. The bathroom was quite small. Food is quite good as part of half board, but not recommended for vegans. The staff is great as always at BSW. Down to earth and lovable.

Beautiful location on the mountain with a great view. Large beer garden. Single room simple but good size and some with a large balcony/terrace. Extensive barbecue buffet on Saturday evening. Breakfast with a good selection. Small sauna area. Ideal hotel for a tour on the Lahn hiking trail.

Everything was perfect overall and I would stay there more often because of my training. The rooms are about 15 square meters in size, there is enough space in the room, there is a TV table and a toilet with a shower. The service is also perfectBreakfast (included) starts at 7:30 but I could never go there because I had to leave the guide. In the evening there is also it but it costs €20 if I'm not mistaken. If you talk about the beach place then I can only say it fits. You have everything you need there, it's a 4 minute walk down to the train station and there's a Lidl right next door, it's a nice area so you can't complain.Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but you don't need to, you should watch yourself.I also give them respect to the staff and have tried to relieve the burden on the cleaning staff. You should remove the coarse dirt yourself.

A nice hotel, right on the edge of the forest.Hiking trails start right outside the door.Breakfast and dinner were sufficient.Dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.One evening the main meal for the evening was all gone, so we had schnitzel. On the last evening there were, among other things: Tortellini and potatoes, unfortunately both not fully cooked. You could taste that. I gave the tip to the staff (just in case someone asks why I'm writing this here and didn't say it right there on the spot).Staff overall attentive and friendly.I had a single room with a large terrace, which I used regularly.Rooms are very noisy, but that's the same in many other hotels.Curtains provide a darker room at most, but do not darken it.That was really difficult when the sun was already shining at 5 a.m.It's a good thing I took a sleeping mask with me, which I never need otherwise.

Loving atmosphere, very nice and courteous staff. The hotel is located right next to the forest with a beautiful view of the valley from the beer garden.
