Location of this hotel is nice if you like walking or have pets. It’s very nice to be located directly next to the river. The hotel is also well prepared with fully automated check in process.Breakfast was not anything special, so we decided to go to the centre and have brunch instead. However, the 2* is mainly because of extreme amounts of mould in our bathroom. This is appalling to find in a 3* hotel in Germany, unfortunately.

Not my best choice of hotels - by far.|This hotel seems to have a good location, next to the Romer Brucke.|But it is also on the crossing point of the very busy Johanniterufer and the Kaiserstrasse. …

the rooms were filthy, no air conditioning which makes the temperature in summer really high. The worse was the bathroom with the shower mounted on zip ties. The beds were uncomfortable and old. It’s hard to fall asleep due to intense traffic at night (located on main road) and some strange place on the ground floor where some elderly people come to play scrabble on 2-4AM (it was closed on daytime). It is quite close to city centre. I think the biggest advantage of this hotel is its parking

The only thing it has going for it is the location. But thats about it.Booking was made, and you get several messages about registering, door codes, key boxes. Accesspoints.. why?! i’m booking a hotel; not an escape-room experience.. and then you get another few messages when you check in..This is all mainly because they don’t man the reception outside of certain hours. It is an unmanned hotel for 15 hours of the day. So they leave you a puzzle to solve to get to your room.Speaking of; a room which came from the 1980’s. Everything is old and in desperate need of new furniture, paint, flooring, ceilings, curtains that actually make a room dark and actually span the full width of the window, and absolutely a bathroom renovation with all the dirt and mold there.. dust on lights, broken picture frames, stains on the walls, open wiring in the bathroom, etcLocation is only so so, yes it’s at the river, but most nice restaurants and such are still a 10-15 minute walk to get to the actual center of activity.Either way, it’s far below any sort of standard for a hotel these days. and i would recommend looking elsewhere for a night sleep.. It’s worth the little extra cost for something that is more modern and most importantly; clean

This hotel was very appalling from the get go. The pictures you see are not at all true to in real. It’s dark, smelly, spiderwebs, moldy and dusty. The elevator smells og urin. The rooms have mold and dust. I found hair in our bed. I was literally scared to sleep as there was noise from men drinking beer in the corridors. I feel that we were cheated by the pictures and price. This place should not exist. Breakfast was not worth eating. Please there are so many good places in Germany. This was is a cheat. I have never ever lived at such a place. Our main reason was because dogs are allowed and we brought our dog with us. Never again will I visit this place. Very disgusting and disappointing. The location gets 2*

Nothing to recommend this one.High price . We have enjoyed far better in Germany at much lower cost. To get to the old town walk it's through the red light district . The car park was being rebuilt. The shower was moldy. The flat screenTV is better described as a small computer monitor . Rooms small and very basic.

Location is great, right by the river in central Trier. The check in process was smooth after hours, mostly responsive staff via online messaging, bathroom clean, room clean, contains closet, and nice side tables. Overall the room is very small even for 2 people, there is street noise or music periodically, the windows are not dark because the curtains only partially cover, the pillows are horribly flat where the head goes, there was one broken light at the front door, tv channels don't really work, and there was definitely not sufficient parking in the courtyard for which we picked this hotel. I hope the car isn't towed.

The double room we stayed in was very sterile, flat tv announced, is barely the size of a computer screen. Shower tap was broken, half of the water comes to the other direction than expected. There is no working wifi. …

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was a decent experience. The hotel was very basic, but it had clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they checked me in quickly. The location was not ideal but still within walking distance from the city center. The interior of the hotel looked very outdated, and it could use some renovation. The hotel was also very budget-friendly, and it offered an affordable price. However, there was no breakfast available due to maintenance, which was a bit disappointing.I think this hotel is ok if you only intend to sleep, and you don't mind the lack of amenities. Otherwise, you might want to look for a better option.

Location was very nice within walking distance of city center. Room was very basic and old but overall clean and roomy. However you hear everything your neighbour does. Unpleasent surprise that the water was not drinkable due to maintence on the pipes and one night our whole room smelled like smoke (probably because the smoke from another guest travelled through the ventilation). Overall not a great experience.
