Our lovely hostess could not do enoUgh for us to make our stay more comfortable. Quiet location. Comfy clean rooms. The MOST delicious breakfast buffet. Secure garage parking too. Popular with local tradesmen staying over as great value but worth considering if you are in the area, passing through. Also dog friendly.

I had a great experience staying there. The owner was nice, it’s possible to check in after their check in hours.I forgot my phone charger in the room and the owner kindly sent it to me.

We were there twice. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The low price was what made us decide to book here. The second time we had all the children with us, a great solution was found. The pigeon droppings right at the entrance portal are a bit disturbing, but you can ignore that.

From the outside you can't tell that it's a hotel.You look in vain for a castle.The rooms are getting old. A renovation would be appropriate.There was no one there when we arrived, the keys were in a plastic drawer box with the name on it.Breakfast is simple but sufficient.We stayed in the hotel with 8 people...It's enough for one night.

We booked a double room for two nights. The price was absolutely right in advance and was booked online via Booking.comThe check-in went smoothly using a key in the box. The owner was also easy to reach in the evening for this information (we arrived very late after we had informed the owner in advance)Unfortunately, when we arrived in our room we were completely disappointed! The simple furnishings of the room were completely fine and it wasn't the deciding factor for us to look for another alternative at night.However, the cleanliness of the room was bottom drawer... the room had a very unpleasant smell, the bathroom was definitely not cleaned, although there were folded towels and a cleaned sign on the toilet, but at first glance there was also a user's disposable razor and a dirty toilet ( interior) can be seen. After we had somewhat come to terms with the room, we noticed this problem and were informed by an employee that she was sorry that she hadn't cleaned this room and that one of the new employees probably cleaned it, but that we didn't have to worry about folded towels If available, it would also be cleaned.My girlfriend has already left a review on Booking and was greeted with an incredibly rude response (we should have slept better in the car).!!!Absolutely no recommendation!!

Large hotel in a great wine region. The staff was friendly and even if not all of the staff spoke German, everyone tried to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. We thought the hotel was great and of course we would book it again.Were there again. With a large group. A miscommunication among the staff almost meant we didn't get a room.But everything was made possible and we were able to stay. thank you for the effort
