Very friendly staff, we had a problem with a broken toilet so we got upgraded straight away to a better room.Location is also perfect, walkable to city center.There is also no sound from the trains/traffic hearable in the rooms.Good price for nice clean room.We didn't have breakfast here, in the city there are better options.

I picked this motel based mostly on the close proximity to the train station. It’s maybe an 8 minute walk. Easy and safe. You do have to go under the train overpass, which has some pigeons and pigeon droppings in it. …

Best price/quality ratio, everything you need for a short stay is here.Super friendly stuff! Service is very important, very. English speaking.The parking place is free and available, but not always easy to find.Literally the hotel is located on Bahnhof, but it's not noisy at all when the window is closed.I don't mind choosing this hotel again for a stay.

I was really satisfied with this hotel. It was my first visit to Germany for the Euro 2014 games. It’s not too far from everything albeit being on the other side of the main town however Mainz is a really nice city. I really liked Mainz and if I do ever come again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. Within walking distance from the main station, eateries and shopping. Staff are really friendly help as well. Little downside is possibly the bed sheets are not changed often as on my last night I experienced itching on my leg which turned into a rash. However that was the first time and it was my final night therefore I didn’t report to reception

My room was completely infested with bed bugs. I asked the hotel to change my room they refused. I asked them to at least change my bed, they said they will but never did, they also didn’t change my bedsheets once despite me asking over and over again. Furthermore the cutlery and dishes were all extremely dirty. The plates and mugs in the clean section always had remnants of dried food in them. Despite all of this the hotel also refused a refund. The hotel was already extremely overpriced for the quality of rooms and food but this entire situation made it entirely a scam. Overall i would absolutely not recommend, don’t bother risking your life and money

The hotel is a quite fine budget hotel with good quality. From main train station only around 6 minutes away and therefore easily connected to the rest of the city. I enjoyed the stay :)

My mom lives only a short walk away from the hotel and this was the perfect location. A short walk from the train station. The staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions. Breakfast was delicious. The mattress was way more than comfortable. Our stay was amazing. The room was always spotless. I would come back any time.

Arriving at B&B Mainz and greeted by a friendly person at the reception making my stay from the start enjoyable. I got great and prompt help on my individual requests and enjoyed a quality breakfast.Every time I visited I am impressed by the flawless service of the team. Please continue going this extra mile that makes me smile.

Hotel near Station but short walk to town was charged £15 euros for early chech in room was not ready so had to go back to reception to get another room no plug socket next to one of beds had house keeping knock the door twice on day we was leaving 8.30 the first one need to be more organised room was very quite if a little small
