This campsite is very large by a lake and directly next to the Autobahn A5. We were on a pitch the furthest possible from the motorway but the noise level was incessant all day and night . …

The place is too loud because of the highway nearby, and if you're planning to camp with babies or very small children think again. No facilities for them. The place could also use one or more washblocks because the existing one is too far away.

After another 2 years we only wanted to use the restaurant and have a beer watching the wakeboarders. Unfortunately the younger generation of the camping (both reception and restaurant) became as arrogant as the older generation. This was the last time I step in this camping........................After 3 years we stopped here again on the way home for one night. Not much changed. If you're with a camper the places available are way too far away from the sanitary rooms. Meaning you don't even have water around you at all. And for this kind of place which literally doesn't have anything at all you pay for 2adults + 1 dog + 1 pitch 30€. No water, no electricity, nothing included and you're so far away from the sanitary rooms that you don't even use them. So what did we actually pay for? The only reason we'll be back here is because I want my niece to start wakeboarding. Otherwise we prefer our lovely camping in Bühl, Adams Camping.-----------------------The maintenance stuff is a gem. They made our time during our stay both with their helps and tips ;) Unkaputtbar is our second reason to love this place. All coctail ingredients home made and they taste really nice. But still a few negative things. If you stay at the very far corner of the camp the kitchen and showers are very very far away. There must be definitely a second complex somewhere close to the entrance. The showers don't have proper hangers to hang your stuff. And the sanitary rooms are not hygienic at all. In case of heavy rain you can be seriously eaten alive by mosquitos. This is of course not establishment's fault but still a big big problem. The kiosk is very very over priced. One little bottle of water for 2€! Otherwise a very nice camping place.

Good yet unusual. Good clear pitches, on a lake for swimming with good wash block. But no tap or waste water on camp field, everything at the wash block. Also, note they close between 1-3pm so no arrival is possible. But, fast access of autobahn, 25 mins drive into city.

We arrived and it looked okay, but when we wanted something to eat in the evening around 9.00 pm, we were very confused. There is a bar, so we asked if there was a restaurant nearby. They said that there was two, completely on the other side of the camping. So we walked to there, and we saw a sign to the restaurant. We walked to the restaurant and it was already closed, but the people from the bar said that it was closing by 10.00 pm. The other restaurant wasn't even there. So we ordered some pizza. Further the camping was okay.

Such a nice place with a lovely swimming lake. Tried to order a pizza and got the wrong thing and the staff at the kiosk was being really rude. Such a shame. The staff at the reception are really nice and the little grill as well.

Large Camp with a lot of resident caravans. They have also very extensive watersports facilities. Good service. On the downside, Wi-Fi does not work.

My partner and I decided to have a night camping, we live in Basel so wanted some where nearby and choose Camping Tunisee as we had been wakeboarding on a day trip before. The Camp manager was very abrupt and impersonable on arrival, gave us fast instructions about a quiet times that I took little notice of as I was planning on not being noisy....no explanation of where the toilets or cooking facilities were etc. We were shown to our site (unprivate and a little too close for comfort to other campers) and had a nice evening having a BBQ and a few drinks before retiring to our camper. The next day we went for a bike ride and then decided to leave soon after. However it was 10 mins past the quiet time which is 1pm to 3pm. Not actually realising this we drove to the gate only to be told by the two young boys that we were not allowed out and they wouldn't lift the barrier! Further more we were not allowed to move the van from its position by the barrier. I didnt realise we had checked into a prison! On arguing this point, they finally rang the camp manager who began to yell at me down the phone straight away... yelling that she had told us of the quiet time etc, I argued the point with her and tried to explain we were merely minutes late and really can they actually hold you prisoner inside a campsite??? She proceed to yell at me to stop talking....and then said...she would open the barrier only if we promised never to come back again!!! We were never welcome back!Way to run a business lady. We weren't rude, loud, drunk or anti social during our stay...we merely misunderstood the quiet time rules and left 10 mins past 1pm. I found her reaction to us totally out of context and quiet frankly disgusting.I have travelled for over 20 years and camped alot and I have never ever been treated so badly for something soooo minor!!! I mean we didn't kill anyone! As we promised we will never ever return and I have made sure that I have put this on a Basel expat website so that the 3000 members can also be sure not to slip up if they are brave enough to stay there!!!!!
