I was here with my class like 15 days ago. I have to say the food was not good! But the rooms and outside was pretty comfortable. The location isn’t too good either because we went to the city and we had to take a pretty long bus ride. But great hostel and I really enjoyed my time here 3/5.PS: we didn’t have any interaction with staff so I can’t describe that

We can't say anything about the overnight stay at the youth hostel, but we celebrated our daughter's birthday there and the organization was excellent!We chose a barbecue package and there was also something for vegetarians. The salads were excellent, the meat was generously portioned and the charcoal was already completely prepared.We had the barbecue shelter completely to ourselves and the children could really let off steam in the large area.Thank you very much for the great service!

I find it difficult to directly recommend this youth hostel, it is getting old and could definitely use some modernization.The food is quite simple.The breakfast was solid, I can't judge lunch and dinner, but if I remember correctly you could choose between meat and vegetarian food.The dining room and accommodation are also somewhat outdated and show corresponding design and wear and tear. The beds/mattresses were ok, there is a night light but no sockets on the bed.The free Wi-Fi worked great and was also important because we lived in the basement, where there was poor cell phone reception.The outdoor area is large and well maintained and caters for all ages.The youth hostel is located a little outside the city, which is quite convenient for hikes, but you can only get into town by car or by bus, which is within walking distance. This can then even be used free of charge.None of this bothered us, but it was important to me that it was mentioned.If you are looking for a good and comparatively inexpensive place to stay overnight on the outskirts of the city as a starting point for hikes or if you are not afraid of getting to the city center in just a few minutes by car or bus, this is the right place for you.Our highlight: De Kreiznacher Johrmarkt! "Nothing like enunner!"

The rooms are okay and clean. The bathroom was half full of water after showering. The faucet on the sink is so close under the counter that you can't reach it with your face. The food is good and plentiful.

The room is OK clean but there was a huge stain on one mattress, probably urine. The food was OK and the service was OK too. Overall, I don't recommend this youth hostel

Just bad! We were there on a school trip. We arrived and it looked like an uninhabited house. The rooms are dirty, small, old and very dirty! Luckily I had my own bed linen! Hers was very disgusting and especially with stains! The food and drink was ok but nothing was washed, crumbs everywhere, stains on the glasses/plates. It also smelled everywhere and everything was dirty and broken. I'm not exaggerating, but there was blood on our ceiling in the common room, which our biology teacher was able to confirm! The location was also very inappropriate if you want to go into the city! 100% Not recommended!!!LG Luca

Very nice, clean youth hostel. The staff is friendly. Due to the location in the "city", the young people only have access to the fenced-in outdoor area to play. I felt comfortable and it was pleasantly quiet at night, even though there were school classes there.
