The promising slogan “Welcome to Paradise” is very lofty. This paradise is not desirable.1. The holiday apartment was advertised as having its OWN balcony, this is not true as it is a continuous terrace for 3 units next to each other. Anyone could visit anyone, whether wanted or not. ProblematicAnd this is annoying if you have arrived with a dog - which costs €13.50 per day - and it cannot access the balcony at all, as you have to be considerate of other guests on the terrace or open patio doors. The seating has to be described as inadequate, it was a very deep rocking chair-like seat made of hard wood, which was very difficult to get up from, especially if you are a little older. Noteworthy: ONLY one seat per unit. The view from the terrace is anything but heavenly.2. A very steep staircase leads to the attic rooms. This must be informed in advance. If we had known this, we would not have made a booking.3. The bedroom only has a small skylight that can be opened electrically by a maximum of 20%, which does not ensure sufficient ventilation on warm summer nights. The patio door could not be left open for ventilation at night - for reasons already mentioned. When we left, my husband pointed out these grievances and the lack of description and previous information to the owner, which she confirmed in all points.

We had a very, very nice time in Rubbertsberg. There is nothing to complain about. We lived in a new apartment, highly recommended. The wine shop, the kitchen and of course the wines left no wish unfulfilled. The hostess works tirelessly for her guests. It seems 24/7. Really great. If we are in the area again, we would like to go back to Porta Vinea.

Beautifully located wine lounge, modern yet cozy. Unfortunately, it is run very unfriendly and with little love and attention for the guest.||Corona hygiene measures are not observed. …

Old farm with a super modern extension not far from Deidesheim. Beautiful, modern restaurant with first-class, vegetarian food, friendly service and our own excellent wines. We had one of the two brand new apartments above the restaurant, hyper-modern, almost a bit too cool and sterile. A bit of natural wood would have been a nice warm player in the gray-white and glass ambience. Unfortunately, the sliding doors to the bathroom and toilet are also made of glass, which is anything but pleasant. The breakfast was small but sufficient, excellent coffee from the fully automatic machine, but a bit too expensive at 14 euros per person. The location is very good, it's only a ten-minute walk to Deidesheim across the fields, and from the hotel you can hike directly into the vineyards. Our dog was very happy about this location, he was welcome in all areas of the hotel and he was allowed to stay with us for free and there was no extra charge for him. Highly recommended for guests with dogs!

We give two stars for the ambience, rooms and also the breakfast (small, but OK). The complex was really beautifully remodeled and laid out, and also very clean, but...No elevator for people with mobility issues, rooms have to be cleaned/beds made by yourself, there were no fresh towels. When we asked the cleaner, we got no response!!!But what was even worse were the hosts (except for the cook). All very impersonal, unpleasant and dismissive. There was no greeting or asking about the well-being of the guests. Here you have never heard of hospitality and customer service... We will spare ourselves the individual circumstances and unpleasant discussions with the senior manager and the junior...Conclusion: We will definitely not be coming back!!! Thank God there are many great accommodations in the Palatinate and in/around Deidesheim... We'll be curious to see when similar/honest experiences will be written on this platform. It's a shame about the lovely atmosphere... (by the way, 7 people rated it here!!!).

Very nicely located in the middle of the small town of Ruppertsberg. Deidesheim can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Super modern wine lounge. Daytime WiFi codes seem a bit old school. Very friendly owner family. Real family business.
