First time staying here but definitely not the last. Very nice room, excellent restaurant and an easy walk from the train station. Most of all, exceptionally friendly staff, especially the innkeeper who personally arranged our 6am taxi to the airbase. Highly recommend.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Check-in was smooth, the front desk staff was helpful, and the rooms were very comfortable. Compared to most beds in Germany, this hotel stands out because it was the most comfortable I've slept on in a while. The residential neighbourhood this hotel is in is extremely quiet, so there's almost no noise to be heard. The restaurant downstairs claims they make the best burger in the kaiserslautern area, however I did not try it. The grill still smelled great thoughThere was ample parking right outside the hotel, free of charge. There are only a few things that could have made this place better. One would be a breakfast option. However, there was still coffee and tea available in the morning free of charge. The other would be an elevator. Nonetheless, it's only three stories so there's not a whole lot of stairs to climb if you are on the top floor.

I stayed here last year, but my family and I used to eat here every week back in 2013. I love this place, and the owners, and workers! The rooms are very simple, but clean and beautiful! If you are looking for a hotel that is connected to a delicious restaurant, come to Hotel Anna!

Small business run by really nice staff. My only issue was amenities. My TV and most outlets in my room didn't work. Other than that, for 185€ or $200 a night, not to sure if it was worth it

We have been coming here since 2017 and generally had good service however we brought guest tonight and we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We have no problem waiting for service when we see large parties and have been informed as well. …

AVOID THIS HOTEL! One of the worst experiences of my life. The owner is incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Details below:We stayed here in May 2023. I arrived at 13:00 and hoped that my room would be ready a bit early or that I could leave my bags with them. No one answered the doorbell. And no one answered the phone. So I came back at 15:15. Again, no one answered the doorbell or the phone. Finally, a man came to the door. He pointed to the sign and said ‘check in is at 16:00’. I said ‘yes but I was hoping the room is ready a bit early?’ He said ‘just wait, I will check.’ I waited about 5 minutes. No answer. Then I see that the man is walking around inside the house. I wait a few more minutes. It was starting to get ridiculous. I rang the door bell. No one comes. I ring the phone number. No one answers (indeed, I could hear the phone ringing inside. It seems to be a landline, and not a cell phone). After waiting more and more minutes, I try the doorbell and the phone number multiple times. Finally, a woman appears at the door. She screams at me: ‘What is the name of your booking!? Please contact Booking.com and cancel your booking!! I don’t want someone like you staying in my hotel!’I was shocked. I explained my situation. She shouts ‘check in is at 16:00! You can’t check in before that!!’ I tried to calmly explain that I knew that, I was just hoping for an early check-in. Or for luggage storage – you know, the normal things that most hotels around the world offer. Her response: ‘check in is at 16:00. This is the rule. You are in Germany and you have to follow the rules!’ I was very upset and distressed. I could see that this woman would not listen to reason or logic. So I walked away.I came back later in the evening with my girlfriend (the booking was actually under her name). I waited around the corner and hid while my girlfriend did the check in alone. Again, no one answered the door or the phone for my girlfriend. 15 minutes later, the woman arrived. The check in went fine. After check in, my girlfriend came to fetch me around the corner. We tried to sneak in the front door, but the woman was waiting outside. She said, ‘oh it’s you. The one causing all the noise before. I should’ve called the police, you know.’ I tried to apologise and cool down the situation, but she was undeterred. She said ‘we have military guests at this hotel. They were sleeping and you disturbed them by ringing the doorbell’. (even though it was well past midday when I rang). At this point I just gave up trying to reason with her. We just walked inside to our room. The rest of the stay was quite unpleasant and uncomfortable. I avoided going into the common areas of the hotel, in case I bumped into this horrible woman.DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Read the other 1 star and 2 star reviews. I am not the first guest to be experience this horrible treatment from this rude and abusive woman.
