This is our favourite site for overnighting on our way south on Motorcycles. It is clean, well maintained and has an excellent sanitary block. …

Nice and new camping close to the lake. DOG FRIENDLY. You have a small kiosk and a bistro inside. Toilet/shower facilities very new and clean. The only improvement is that it could have a little more trees and shade in the tent area. They have trees but are still small.

Just had 2 nights in our caravan on this site, everything was clear, tidy and well kept. Direct access to the lake. Reception was friendly and helpful. A great site that we would happily recommend to others. The owners have clearly invested in the site. We will return soon.

We had been riding around for a long time trying to find somewhere to stay for the night. We arrived here late (reception closes around 7pm) The chap running it, however, saw two drowned guys on motorbikes and happily re-opened for us. …

We camped for one night with tents.it is a beautiful site by the lake. The tent area was well sited and it was a joy to see families with children playing in a safe environment. the facilities were very clean. However, one needs to use a key fob to gain entry. This is not very practical if you are two people, as you cannot go to the toilet until the other person has returned, etc. I am not sure that locking the toilets is necessary in such an isolated place. The restaurant on site was quite good, but there was no covered area for sitting when it rained.

What fine camping!!! We were passing through on motorcycle, we were allowed to pitch our tents on the tent field. Beautiful landscaped field, where you still had privacy on your own place. They also thought about how to safely park the motorcycle. The bistro is more like a takeaway restaurant but food is absolutely fine, they also have good wine from the region, so absolutely fine!

Nice place on the island, with friendly staff. Close to Speyer, but you are still in nature. There is a nice bistro inside of the camping. The facility could have bigger capacity.

Although the campingplace is quite nicely situated (next to a lake) and the bathrooms are very clean and modern, we will never return. We have hardly ever experienced such an unfriendly welcome. We arrived at 19.30 pm. …
