We stayed for an anniversarry weekend at this hotel and it we had a lovely time! The views were beautiful, the hotel was situated in an excellent location overlooking the vineyards. It was quiet and peaceful, we would definitely come back again. We had the 2 floor studio room which was very spacious and clean, the interior was modern and awesome. Breakfast was very good for a small hotel, there are variety and even fresh juices you can make yourself. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and I felt very safe and at home here. The level of trust they put to visitors of the hotel make me feel very at ease. We rented the e-bikes to explore the area which I very recommend! Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and I'd like to thank everyone who made us feel so welcomed. P.S.: Don't forget to try the wines they have here! Delicious!

Very disappointed…My original plan was staying for one night only. After the first night and had tried the breakfast, I think it is worth to stay for another night, enjoy the terrace after the golf round, nice breakfast in front of this beautiful scenery. So, on the second day morning, we went to the breakfast room at 9am, I was shocked! The buffet table was very completely different than the day before. Only left over food. Half size of the plates were used. There were only one slice of smoked salmon, two slices of sausages, salami, over baked croissants and rolls, one glass of no named juice laying on the table, so many other things are missing. I asked the waitress, she said there is no more smoked salmon. But it was only 9am!!! Breakfast should be finished at 10am!! She said she just follow the instruction from the boss.Room rate 180€ for such a quality standard. It doesn’t matter the front desk gave us a compensation, but such a mistake destroy my impression for this hotel. Even thought there are only 6 guests, the service standard should maintain the same everyday, or change the service style if you don’t want to waste the food. Very disappointed.

In the middle of graperanksyou will find a marvelous hotel. Beautiful terrace and friendly staff. Also for one night stay a good idea. Next to a nice golf complex. A good combination for a weekend or a few days.

Our family recently stayed in the Golf Hotel for a family wedding. It is in a beautiful rural setting surrounded by vineyards. The rooms were spacious & the food was very good. Above all else the staff were wonderful, Sven, Anina & especially Christine who found solutions to any problem we encountered with hired cars & gave us great advice on places of interest.

We were at the Hofgut Wißberg from Thursday to Sunday. A really nice hotel. The breakfast is really very appealing. The employee who is responsible for breakfast is always careful to make it perfect. …

Our criticisms (in short form):| |1. Unfriendly reception: Just a brief “Hello”, no “Hello, warm welcome, did you have a good journey” or something similar.| |2. …

Very nicely located hotel. However, as an “external” breakfast guest you have the feeling of not being welcome. Unfortunately, the breakfast times are far too short. As a cyclist you are also looked at askance. Especially in this region, where you can easily travel by e-bike, you should provide a bike rack for guests.

At the reception we were given the "reduced" menu and had to decide immediately what we should eat that evening. We weren't even in the room yet. Very unprofessional, it could have been handled differently. The cloud forest room was very large, with a very small skylight. This made it seem dark, uncomfortable and unfortunately also carelessly furnished, as there is still a lot of "free" space in the room. The bathroom was very nice. Large and with plenty of storage space. Unfortunately, the bathroom door was very warped, so that the partner was woken up in the night by the loud noise of the door being closed or the toilet flushing... Dinner was good, unfortunately it came without cutlery. We then took it from the other tables after it hadn't come for a while when we asked. You can't have drinks and food charged to your room; I've never had this happen at a hotel. The employee at breakfast was very friendly. My husband took the size label out of his shirt, she put it back in his shirt and put a table on the terrace in the shade for us. We borrowed e-bikes which were very high quality and it was fun to ride them. Unfortunately the bell on one of them was broken, which is always very awkward on a bike tour. At 7 p.m. in the evening the hotel was locked and there was no one at reception to return the bikes. However, the reception should be staffed until 8 p.m. every day. We then left these in the foyer. The service on the terrace was super friendly and really tried hard. The location of the hotel is very nice and you don't hear anything from the neighboring rooms. Unfortunately, the “small” defects ran like a thread through our stay...

My partner and I were looking forward to a relaxing weekend and, after thorough research, decided on the Hofgut Wißberg, idyllically located in the vineyards. …

I was also staying at the hotel on the weekend of the summer festival. The real problem for me wasn't the volume making it impossible to sleep - things like that can happen even when they shouldn't. The way the employees treated us was much more serious in retrospect. We felt completely misunderstood as guests during telephone conversations and emails. Instead of doing everything we could to make us forget that terrible night, we were accused of lying. In addition, reference was made to the “Rhine-Hessian conviviality”, which one simply has to live with and which the hotel also advertises with. We had the impression that the farm advertised peace and relaxation in the idyllic vineyards. I am sure that 99% of guests choose the Hofgut precisely for these reasons.Once again: The thing with the summer festival happened and was just bad luck. But the way the employees treated her afterwards was simply disappointing - no understanding, no empathy, no appreciation.
