This is a stopping place near the Autobahn but someday from the city centre. The services are good with metered water and a good grey water drain. You have to get tokens from the machine. There is a locked toilet for disabled people that is opened with the correct key. There is a ditch being dug at the site by two work men who start early in the morning and make a lot of noise (February 2023). One of the pitches has been taken to store equipment and machinery. The road way is covered in sand and grit. It is also important to note that the road is a one way street in front of the pitches and some local traffic uses this as a cut through. There is, on week days, a noticeable hour of the autobahn traffic that is nearby more noticeable from about 05.00 - depending on your hearing! This is then covered by the city noise.

The parking space has good supply and disposal, electricity on site, but because the motorhome parking space is outside of the city and surrounded by the motorway, trains, etc., it was unfortunately not that nice for us. In addition, the fee of €18 plus electricity is not exactly cheap either.

The motorhome parking space is just the best of everything. The toilets are locked and the surroundings just look terrible. Everything is gray, there are only a few options for eating out, the planetarium is almost always fully booked and the technomuuseum looks more like an activity playground for children than a real museum. The streets and houses look deserted and everything is covered in posters.Really bad!Mannheim should be ashamed.

The place is okay, from here you can get to the city center in 15 minutes by tram. There are coffee shops, bakeries and various other shops within a radius of approx. 800 m. Price €10 per night is ok, electricity €1 per kW a bit expensive. The place is also suitable for overnight stays as it is very close to the highwayUpdate:Attention ⚠️ space currently costs €18 for 24 hours
