Located a few minutes' walk from Tegernsee. Lovely and warm service. Clean rooms and rich breakfast. We have been happy to be guests there for 25 years. We always feel comfortable there.

Reasonable price-performance ratio. Outdated hotel with no lift, no wellness area or other amenities for boring days.As a group we were only there to sleep and have breakfast, there was nothing more. You could take drinks from a refrigerator for a fee.Breakfast was varied and enough without any particular highlights. The rolls would be baked. Honey very tasty. Due to Corona, a lot of things are in packaged form.Everything was brought, no buffet, okay.All rooms had balconies without a lake view. Bathroom with shower very small. Double room big enough. Facilities old fashioned, not appealing.Plus point: tegernseecard, with this you could get some discounts.Tourist tax is steep at 3.30 euros, owner can't help it.There are parking spaces in front of the house and a nice lawn behind the house.Friendly operators mother and daughter.It's a quick walk to the town and to the lake. Nice lake promenade, good restaurants, great mountains for hiking. Busy car traffic on the main street during the day. It was possible to sleep peacefully at night. Otherwise, the sidewalks will be raised at 8 p.m.Accommodation was okay for us, but I would go somewhere else with my wife.

First of all: Overall a very good price-performance ratio. The hotel is clean, the owners (mother and daughter) are very nice and always try to satisfy the guest, even in this Corona period.A somewhat outdated hotel (greets from the 80s). You can see that some of the rooms and buildings have been repaired but never fundamentally modernized. Our bathroom was very small about 2.7 square meters. The room itself was large and spacious. The terrace (1 hour) was huge and you could relax there even during a thunderstorm. Centrally located without a direct view of the lake but it can be reached on foot in 4 minutes. Due to Corona there was no buffet but there was a kind of card on which you could state your wishes beforehand for breakfast. We even missed scrambled eggs - there were only boiled eggs and the mixed bread wasn't the best - the rolls were good. Since I am a tea drinker, my desired variety was even provided and the special request for pickled gherkins was immediately fulfilled. We were able to store the e-bikes in a cramped and temporary manner in the private carport. Here you may want to invest in a place to store guests, preferably with power supply, as the number of guests with bikes is increasing. The hotel seems to have a lot of regular guests aged 60 and over. In summary: a nice stay with a reasonable price and a lot of friendliness and attention.

Of course you notice that you are in western Germany. For the money you can get much better rooms in other areas. Nevertheless, very nice service and the location is of course also very, very good.

Older furniture! The bed is a bit small! Length 1.90 m! I do not recommend for taller people! The room was for one person!
