If you're looking for a spot that's convenient for the East side of the island, this is the place to be. It's close to amenities like a laundro, heaps of convenience stores, and local eateries. Again, it was a very peaceful and pleasant stay for me, and as it is a rather intimate space, expect to see travellers coming and going.Genuinely enjoyed the hospitality of the innkeeper, she's been helpful in ensuring that my stay was as seamless as possible. Overall, would recommend for travellers looking for a tranquil space, on a tight budget - this is a simple place to stay in, if most of your itinerary involves spending time taking in the sights around the island.

Staff are friendly and helpful. However the owner (I think) sits on the front steps and smokes on the evenings and the doors aren't sealed so you can hear everything and also sometimes smell smoke coming into the room.The bed comes with 2 very flat pillows so you may as well be sleeping on the mattress without them.The room had a strange smell when we arrived. It's quite a noisy area in terms of bikes driving by, dogs barking and cats screaming during the night and the owner has a car with a very very loud exhaust.No fridge in the room but you can use their fridge, I think the family live there which is also a little awkward as we don't feel comfortable asking the owners to keep the noise down.The younger woman who serves the breakfast is really helpful and pleasant. But unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again.

This is my second stay in Sugiras living. I loved it , again! Greate hospitality and quite place where to find a good rest. Devi , the host of the Sugiras living was always there to accommodate all your needs and requests. |Breakfast was good and prepared with love . |I would definitely choose Sugiras living for my next visit.

Quite a pleasant surprise to visit Denspasar and stay at the Sugiras Living! I am staying here for about 10 days and I already like the Bali weather, people of Bali and staying at the Sugiras Living. The place is neat and tidy. Ms Devi is an absolute delight to meet! She is so kind, polite, sweet and soft voice, and asked me about my food preferences! She is caring and beautiful family! I am already amazed by the Bali culture! The neighborhood is quite and bed is comfortable! Shower was warm and room is good size. I left the door open because it is very homely place! The check in process was efficient! Ms Devi had arranged a shuttle! The driver is polite and very helpful. Ms Devi speaks fluent English. She offered directions for the beach, also. I highly recommend staying here. I am enjoying learning about Balinese culture and religion! The whole place is quite charming and Balinese prayer items are here! Beautiful garden, too.

We’ve had very nice two nights there. Owner and all staff were ver nice and helpful with any question we’ve had. It’s a bit in a middle of nowhere, like a lovely oasis, but with nice massage places around and with grab is easy to get anywhere you need. We booked standard room, but it was not a problem to pay a bit more and get remote control for the air con. Really lovely place!
