Great little independent hotel. Rooms were clean. Service at the reception was very good. The staff were very knowledgeable about the local area. Location is good with a short walk to the cathedral, river and the city centre. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights during the Euro 2024 tournament. It was a very convenient location on the riverfront and close to the Heumarkt fanzone, numerous restaurants and bars, and city transit stops. …

Came to cologne for the Euros with my son and stayed for seven nights and the staff and Hotel are fantastic can't do enough for you. The location is on the Rhine and really central and great for restaurants and night life. Will be back hopefully later in the year this time to do so sight seeing.

A lovely small hotel on the banks of the Rhine. Room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, and lovely, attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent with wide range of choice. Within walking distance of all major attractions and so well worth staying for tourists.

Very disappointing stay at this hotel. The first room we had was absolutely tiny (the rooms here are all very different!!), the shower leaked and I had to nearly beg the clerk on the desk for a towel and he could only give me one. …

Absolute hidden gem. Hotel is located right at the waterfront walking area. Beautiful clean room 205. Nicely renovated. Comfortable bed. We did have a coffee machine issue but they replaced it right away and also gave us a cappuccino and coffee from the restaurant for our troubles. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend

Perfect stay. The breakfast is a highlight with FRESH orange juice and home made compot.Rooms are very comfortable. Enough space and amenities. Free drinks in the minibar, good light, spacious shower.I have been in many hotels in Germany. This one is the best.A plus is the view of the river and the trees. It is in a nice area close to the city centre. You can walk to the dome, Museum Ludwig, the train station and the chocolate museum.Staff is very polite a d professional. Top!

It's OK, even tho I expected more from a 4* hotel. If you go to see the city just by walking I would recommend a more centric hotel, but the place is still good - close to the chocolate museum. Breakfast is quite expensive (24€), not that I cannot afford it as the hotel unpolitly suggested, but because I've been in 5* hotels with breakfast at 27€ and 4* hotels at 15-17€. Beds are comfortable. Decoration and ambiance nothing special. View to the river is OK because I was there in winter. I believe when the trees are full with leaves they'll block the view.
