We stayed in the guesthouse as a couple for 4 nights. It was nostalgic and that's what makes this guesthouse so appealing to us. Set back a bit in the GDR era towards the FDGB holiday home and food like your mother's. The offer we booked included half board. In the evening, in addition to a rich breakfast, there was a wonderful, varied warm meal in the morning. It consisted of a menu. The menu was real home cooking and tasted like mother's. It was a surprise every day because you don't know what to expect. Every day there is either a bedside table or a starter soup. And every meal was tasty. The rooms are spacious and you could sleep well in the bed. Great attention is paid to cleanliness. The landlord has always been friendly and really tries everything to make you feel comfortable. We found the short vacation very relaxing and are looking forward to our next vacation with the nice König family in Wolkenstein.We can highly recommend this guesthouse.

Many thanks to the König family for the ten wonderful days we spent in this guesthouse.We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this house.If you expect more for the asking price, you've simply come to the wrong place. The "Waldfrieden" is a great guesthouse with simple, clean rooms and great all-round service. Everything is somehow familiar and that's exactly what makes this place special.We had booked half board and did everything right. A generous breakfast and a delicious meal in the evening, alternately accompanied by soup/salad or dessert.Plus the offer of professional, physiotherapeutic massages at an unbeatable price. A very nice accommodation, including time travel potential. Great value for money, very clean. From the outside, the ravages of time have taken a bit of a toll, but that also has its charm. Very nice and family-friendly operators, we felt very comfortable with the König family. The food was super delicious.

We liked it very much.It is down to earth and cozy and very clean.The rooms are functionally furnished and the mattresses are excellent.The food was real home cooking and we enjoyed it.Our wishes were taken into account and it was also a successful holiday for our little grandson.We will come back.The price-performance ratio is excellent.The landlord was very welcoming, thank you for everything.

I found the offers online by chance. Price-performance is unbeatable. An assessment of the room and location is certainly very individual, so there can be a wide variety of opinions. We were satisfied. The service is impeccable and the food was always very tasty and plentiful. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to come back.
