Very clean hotel in a very quiet and fantastic location, you can really relax here. Family room was lovingly furnished and very clean. Very friendly staff and great service. The food was simply great, freshly prepared, delicious and rich. Extra requests were also taken into account. Price/performance ratio is right. Definitely coming back.

A big thank you to the Waldhotel team. Everything was just great. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone there is inspiring. You feel like you're in a big family. The idyllic location, the surroundings, the nature - you can really unwind here. One more thing is important. The food, be it breakfast or dinner, you can't beat it. They also offer a lot of homemade items, from jam to salads, in portions in small jars with screw caps. This is super hygienic and avoids unnecessary waste. Everything is thought through throughout. Compliment!

The location in the middle of the forest is fantastic. We really liked the great service. The house is clean and the food is fabulous. The boss of the house also has exceptional knowledge of the region and can talk about it perfectly. The hotel manager is available as a taxi for trips to Annaberg Buchholz or other well-known places. Everything was perfect for us for our visit to the Ore Mountains.

Very quiet location, the children had enough time to run around outside! The rooms are good and clean!!But the absolute highlight was the food, whether it was the breakfast buffet, which was superbly prepared, or the excellent dinner!!! Very, very good cuisine!!

The two of us were guests here over New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The hotel is located far away from any hustle and bustle in the middle of the forest, but is very easy to reach. The house is family run. The rooms are regionally furnished, i.e. lots of light wood, very comfortable. I had the impression that it had been renovated not too long ago, because everything seemed very fresh and well-kept. At this point I would like to expressly mention the excellent cleanliness; I'm a bit of a pedant here and there who likes to get hung up on little things, but there was really nothing to complain about here! In addition to TV and telephone, the rooms also offer Wi-Fi and a wet room. Personally, I found this minimalist bathroom really cute, I've read negative things about it in other reviews, so I can't say anything negative about it. The bathroom was also very clean and well-kept, and offered enough space for me, a weight athlete of 140 kg, for everything I need to do in the bathroom. The price included breakfast, which was also excellent: sausage/cheese platters, fresh rolls, eggs sometimes boiled, sometimes scrambled, fruit, vegetables, were always very appetizing. Special mention must be made of the arsenal of jam. This is not put in a large jar like elsewhere or packaged in plastic, but rather in small preserving jars that contain exactly one portion, EVERYTHING is cooked in-house, and you can taste THAT too! I couldn't try them all, the selection is enormous! Also very sustainably offered in glasses are pudding, muesli, yoghurt and delicious, homemade salads (the cheese salad... wow... I could have fooled myself!). Dinner is usually offered in the evening; you can make your choice at breakfast; there is a menu to tick off. We always had the choice between a children's meal and 2 different main courses, as well as a starter and dessert. Guys, the boss cooks here herself, and it couldn't have been better! Traditional, partly regional cuisine, very, very tasty, decent portions, and beautifully varied and appetizingly prepared. The drinks portfolio is decent, the homemade schnapps and liqueur should definitely be tried! Dinner and drinks were NOT included in the price, but they are absolutely affordable and worth the money! Around 27 euros for a really sumptuous 3-course menu is more than okay for me. So if, like us, you want to take a quiet break in nature if possible, this is the right place for you. Hotspots like Oberwiesenthal can be reached quickly, and the Czech Republic is just around the corner.

The hotel is for those seeking peace and quiet with a little more budget.Quiet location. Large rooms, restaurant only for house guests depending on the season, Friday to Sunday. Pets welcome, friendly owners, parking spaces in front of the house.I missed a larger breakfast offering for the price level (with the exception of the jam selection here, which is gigantic). Scrambled eggs were only available on Sundays. No café specialties.Mini system bathroom from the 90s, toilet was not cleaned properly and paper was missing. hence 4 stars.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place.👌Three of us went on a weekend trip to Crottendorf in the Erzgebirge. The hotel is located remote from the town in the middle of the forest. A dream for those who just want to get out and unwind. The rooms are very clean and definitely adequately furnished for us. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, then you should go for it just look elsewhere. The breakfast is a big movie 👌. Large selection, lovingly prepared, sustainable as packaging is largely avoided and is made in-house. (jams, salads, spreads, etc.)You can then end the evening comfortably in the restaurant. The evening menu is really fantastic and many a restaurateur can learn something from it.The staff is friendly and always had a smile on their faces. Conclusion: For families/couples & big boys who just want to get out and into nature, this hotel is the right place for them. We'll be back!!!😉😎

We have already held many family celebrations in this hotel. The food and service are top notch. The quiet and cozy rooms allow for a restful sleep after a celebration. This year we were also invited to a wedding celebration, my husband's niece was also there Dietrichsmühle married, even though we are there more often, even with this big wedding they outdid themselves. So I can't understand people's negative reviews. Keep it up and don't let this get you down. Thank you keep it up
