Landgasthof / Pension Dittersdorfer Höhe

I was booked into the Landgasthof Dittersdorfer Höhe for a business trip for 2 weeks in a row and was pleasantly surprised.I travel to many hotels at home and abroad for work reasons and may be a bit particular when it comes to hotels. Luckily the hotel suited my peculiarities quite well. I'm not very demanding, but the demands I have are important to me. It is important to me that the bed is not rolled over and is clean, the bathroom is clean and there is enough warm water when showering so that I can shower with cold soap. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The bathroom was clean and there was always plenty of warm water. 1 star deducted because the towels could be replaced and there are one or two silicone joints in the shower that urgently need to be replaced. And the hotel is unfortunately quite noisy to the neighboring rooms. Otherwise, the room was large enough not to feel cramped and there was also a balcony with a very nice view over the landscape. The WiFi, which is available free of charge, was sufficient for working on the laptop and entertainment. Since I wasn't here on an adventure trip but for work, I appreciated the very quiet location. However, you are not far from the shot. The nearest towns can be reached within minutes by car and Chemnitz in 10-15 minutes by car. The country inn also has a small restaurant, which offers home-style cooking with regional specialties. I would like the menu to perhaps be expanded to include a few more dishes for people who are not familiar with the regional cuisine. However, the Viennese style schnitzel was very tasty. The price wasn't exorbitant but not very cheap either. The staff at the country inn were always friendly and warm. I would choose this hotel over a hotel in Chemnitz at any time and look forward to my next visit!As a little final feedback to the hotel operators:I would like a second trash can in the room, the one in the bathroom is unfortunately a bit small and is only emptied every 2 days. The towels are unfortunately a bit frayed here and there, not at all dirty, but new towels would give a better impression.Thank you for your hospitality!

Had dinner in the restaurant here. Nice restaurant, nice view. Menu not very large, but with delicious home cooking at reasonable prices.

I can highly recommend this inn, super nice boss who fulfills every wish, good service, friendly staff, top value for money! Very tasty food in the restaurant, freshly prepared dishes. Good breakfast, everything you need, if there are any special requests, they will be fulfilled. Very quiet location, ideal for cycling and hiking. Dogs are also very welcome. Everything is very uncomplicated.Thank you for everything and we will definitely come back.

I was there for a celebration. There is also a bowling alley for rent on site. The house is a bit remote but nicely furnished. The view from the hall is magnificent. The staff was very attentive and the food 😋 delicious. Ideal as a starting point for hikes.
