I spent the days there primarily in the hut, as I don't do any winter sports and only went along as a companion. However, everyone else reported short distances to excursion sites and proximity to the lift. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the house. Sauna, whirlpool and tiled stove were used extensively. Unfortunately, some of the rooms are equipped with single beds built into the walls, which are quite small. For my husband it was ok but not particularly pleasant. But that's complaining at a high level because everything else worked fine. I can't comment on the owners as I haven't had any contact with them. But it also seemed to fit.

As a family we spent our Pentecost holiday in the Berghaus and enjoyed it very much. We received a very warm welcome!! The house is a real gem with an interesting history. The surroundings are magical and the location of the house is unique. The hosts are very warm, accommodating and very uncomplicated. Highly recommended! We definitely want to come back.Thank you very much!

We booked the hut for New Year's Eve with 12 people. There are 3 double bed rooms, 2x 2 single bed rooms and a bed in the basement.As soon as we entered, we regretted not having booked more days. This house has a flair, you immediately feel at home. There is a living area with a fireplace and next door a living room with a fireplace. In the basement there is a sauna and a whirlpool for relaxation.There is WiFi on the ground floor, maybe also on the 1st floor, but not on the 2nd floor, but you only go to the rooms to sleep anyway.The living area has a large television where you can relax in the recliners and comfortable couches.The view over the village is great, especially for New Year's Eve.Nice landlord, we'll be back as promised. :-)

High recommendation for this beautifully located house, which contains everything (and much more) you need and want for a vacation as a family with children. The warmth and simplicity of the landlords made it easy for us to book. The stay impressed us and made us want more. We are very happy to come from Norway again and go on holiday in beautiful Carlsfeld, where you "feel like a king when you stand at the railing of the terrace" in the Berghaus.

We had a great weekend with our friends... and kids... tobogganing, skiing... on the ski slope right next to the cool, venerable "Berghaus".... we ended our day by the fireplace and the sauna. We look forward to exploring the area in summer too. Thank you very much to you dear accommodation people.
