I can't understand how leather is pulled here! If I had to wait 90 minutes for my food, I would ask if the food still needs to be caught 😅 and if I don't like something, I won't eat it and ask for a change! Fish tastes like fish 🐠 We had pleasant service, not intrusive, but always keeping an eye on us and my fish plate was so delicious that I wanted to lick the plate 🤭 the hollandaise is not out of the bag! So much for that! Not everyone can have a clue!Here we still cook the way it was traditionally transmitted! We hadn't pre-ordered, which wasn't a problem. We were offered a nice big table! We didn't have to wait long for the food, even though we all had something different! My family and I really enjoyed it! From what I could observe, all the guests were very satisfied!We can recommend this restaurant!

A beautiful guesthouse in a rural location. The room was simply but tastefully decorated and had a wonderful garden view. If you want, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast the next day. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We had a great time at our school graduation party in this lovely, cozy location. Since the weather was fantastic, we were able to use the beautiful garden in addition to the hall. The Waldeck team was always available to help us in a friendly and helpful manner, no matter what issue we had.The food was also great, leaving nothing to be desired for our guests, both young and old. We would like to thank you again for your hospitality and will definitely be happy to come back. ❤

Unfortunately, the Landgasthof Waldeck was not able to completely convince us on our trip to Zobes. We were a hungry group of three from West Germany (which we clearly felt in some places in the area) and were looking forward to a good dinner. We arrived around 7:30pm and were amazed that no one offered us a place on the terrace or served us a menu and drinks. After about ten minutes we finally went into the inn to find out what was going on.We were told there was a wedding going on but we could still get something to eat. There were three meaty dishes to choose from, and we were only offered a vegetarian alternative upon request. We chose two schnitzels and a salad with feta.The food was served quickly as it was still left over from the wedding party. The salad was very manageable and the dressing was obviously bottled. To our disappointment, the feta was completely missing. The schnitzels seemed heavily perforated and didn't give the impression of being freshly prepared. They didn't seem to be properly seasoned or properly breaded, and we searched in vain for the taste of clarified butter. The side dish, triangular hash browns from the freezer, matched this unconvincing overall impression.Although the food was generally okay and the price was acceptable, it fell short of our expectations. Although the location of the country inn is picturesque, the atmosphere was rather disappointing. Especially since life in this area comes to a standstill at 8 p.m. and everything seems deserted, we were at least happy to have gotten anything to eat at all.

Not possible at all!!!! We were in this restaurant on a Tuesday and they only served fish. It's okay so far, but there are people who just don't eat fish. After asking whether there was something else, we were offered two alternatives.Smoked salmon wasn't bought and you forgot, it's also difficult to remember as a cook that Tuesday is always fish day.The food itself was a disaster, I had a fish plate with two different types of fish. The fish was totally watery and tasteless, but the frozen vegetables were completely cooked to death, I've never experienced anything like that and so that it wasn't so noticeable, a bag of hollandaise sauce was simply poured over it. All finished products with no taste, which took forever before they were at the table.When it comes to the service staff, I'll just save myself any words.

The entrance area is beautifully decorated and the guest room invites you to linger. The staff is friendly and quick. I was able to satisfy my small hunger with a good portion of fries. A return is certain.

Unfortunately we had to wait over 1.5 hours for our food, even though the restaurant was empty.The food was poorly seasoned, but good quality. Very friendly service.Answer to justification: It's pretty cheeky, we never saw the cook and the food was seasoned without any seasoning.
