We have now been to lunch several times as a family 👨👩👧👦 at the Gasthof and Pension 'Zum Schwan' - Christiane Kochenel and have been thrilled every time. The atmosphere is very pleasant and familiar 🏡, which immediately gave us a feeling of well-being.Particularly noteworthy are the Swiss dishes 🇨🇭 on the menu - they impressed us all. Every dish was freshly prepared 🍽️ and tasted of a high standard. My grandma 👵 was really excited about the quality and authentic taste of the food. The portions are also just right and the price-performance ratio is good 💰.The service was always friendly and attentive 😊, which made the visit even more pleasant.Overall, we are very satisfied and would like to come back. There is only a small point deduction because it sometimes takes a little longer on particularly busy days ⏳. But the wait is worth it!

I stayed here for one night and had a wonderful stay.The room is cozy and beautiful.I immediately felt comfortable.Nothing was missing and it was clean.Breakfast was sufficient and I had a very tasty farmer's breakfast in the restaurant in the evening.I would come back in a heartbeat

I can't say anything about the rooms. We had dinner on April 11th, 2024. And we give 10 stars to everything that needs to be rated. Everything is just great.

Top restaurant with cute guest rooms.Bathrooms have been beautifully renovated.Chatting with my mother at the breakfast table. Super nice lady.I can fully recommend it.

First of all, this is not a restaurant, but an inn or a pub. According to the region, there is really delicious food. Here you can eat, not like your mother's - but just like your grandma does. No frills, just home cooking - straight forward and honest. This is Vogtland and suits the town very well. We will be back !!!

Was passing through here to stay overnight on the way from the north-east to the south-west of Germany. The single room we booked was small, but up to date and clean. Since the guesthouse is on the main street, I could only sleep with the window closed. But the innkeepers can't do anything about the fast-moving cars on the street. Across the street is a good-sized parking lot that belongs to the inn. I was able to park my motorcycle there, but I was also offered to put the machine in the garage. I also had a problem with my helmet, my visor was only attached on one side because a fastener was lost during the trip. The host family was kind enough to provide me with a temporary solution. Thank you very much again for that. 😘👍 And as luck would have it, the family also has relatives in my birthplace in eastern Brandenburg. Germany is a village. 😃 Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, I arrived on the restaurant's closed day and left quite early. I actually wanted to spend the night there again a week later on the return journey. However, the large area of rain put a stop to my entire planning and unfortunately I had to cancel and go a day later. But the room was already occupied and I had to spend the night somewhere else. Nevertheless, I will definitely be happy to stay here again.
