Seaside Townhouse

Very nice accommodation, nice room and very central. Top price/performance ratio, would be happy again. Service difficult to assess as there is no reception😅

Based on the descriptions we only saw after booking, our expectations were zero.But when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the entrance door, everything was clean, fresh towels, clean bed linen, the facilities were complete and clean.Access to the apartment should probably be re-described as everyone probably had their problems with it.Service: no matter whether on the phone (no one answered, just text messages) as well as the daily cleaning described (was not carried out) there is still room for improvement.The outdoor area should be reworked and is no longer beautiful.

Organizational 1A.Location OK.Size for 2 people is great, with 2+1 it's a bit tight, the folding chair was definitely not comfortable at night.Visually very appealing because it is relatively new and nicely furnished.The breakfast bar with three bar stools was, well, OK for three people two mornings. It's a good thing we only had two nights, after the third breakfast I would have found it uncomfortable and too cramped. It was good that there was a mini coffee machine, but it was too small even for two adults who don't drink much. Otherwise the kitchen was attractive and adequately equipped. The only drawback: there was only one teaspoon, but 5 forks (all different).Now to the main disaster: the bathroom!Size OK, visually very stylish, but:With the designer sink with designer faucet, we had to learn just a few minutes after arriving that you can only turn the water on halfway, otherwise you risk either a wet stomach or a flood in front of the basin.The fitting - even though it's not that old - has already seen its best days, the aerator was no longer completely permeable, the eccentric didn't work at all, and we had to put the drain cover next to the basin the whole time because otherwise the water would not have drained.In addition to the silicone joints, which are also only half well cleaned, that's not the worst thing!The shower is really bad:The huge overhead rain shower was so calcified that it couldn't be used. No one has been there for weeks or months. Alternatively, you could only use the hand shower. But you couldn't set it completely vertically, so the water jet always came out of the shower and made the entire bathroom wet, because the half-open designer shower didn't have any doors that you could close - if you thought about that, had no sense of practicality, just the look in mind. Looks great, but doesn't work at all.What only works moderately is the flush, rimless and slightly moldy drain. Every 10 seconds a loud and quite annoying pump comes on to pump out the water and can be heard throughout the entire apartment - when it's working!Because on Sunday morning it suddenly gives up and within a very short time the water no longer drains, but from the bathroom into the living room and into the kitchen!!!It's good that we had so many towels to fix the total disaster, but it took the three of us over half an hour of mopping to get half an inch of water out of the apartment. To be honest, I had imagined relaxation and vacation differently on Sunday morning.On closer inspection, however, it seems that this catastrophe was not the first to happen to us. Swollen door frames and skirting boards bear witness to similar actions before us.In summary: All in all, visually very appealing and even “good to very good” due to the location, price-performance and processing. But in detail, especially in terms of cleanliness, equipment and especially because of the limited use of the bathroom, it is rather "poor".

Unfortunately we share the impressions of the other guests. It has certainly been modernized nicely, but now looks unkempt. There were also a few defects in the room that housekeeping should have noticed. The beds were hard, bed linen was broken. Noise from the construction site at the house from 8 a.m. as well as from the neighboring room, as the walls are extremely noisy. We leave the apartment with mixed feelings. Still acceptable for a short stay but not recommended for a longer period of time.
