Visited friends in Tellingstedt at the weekend and needed an overnight stay. Privately run, clean, friendly and inexpensive hotel, a bit outdated but very well renovated. Although not on B&B or Motel One level, but fully recommended!

So for the price you can't complain for the region. Internet is also available and good, as is a kitchen in the room and a beautiful garden where you can hang out after work. But the whole hotel and every room smells like smoke and old stuff.

Tellingstedt is a small, fine town in the heart of Dithmarschen, with beautiful excursion options in the surrounding area.The Hotel Wilhelmshof, right at the entrance to the town, in a quiet location, offers the right rooms for a successful (short) holiday.Lovingly and practically furnished, very clean and cozy. The large garden with old trees and beautiful seating offers an ideal retreat for relaxation.I would like to thank the friendly hosts for the great stay.Five out of five stars 👍

Cozy hotel built by a gentleman who has his own horse stable. What I think is a plus point that you don't see often anymore is that smoking is allowed everywhere here, even in the hotel rooms. Of course this is not necessary, but it is allowed. Furthermore, nice owner and nice bar where you can sit comfortably. Breakfast is also good, especially for an overnight stay!
