then it degrades quickly. A few things are OK (TV and power sockets) but carpets are old worn and stained, the shower disintegrated, plastering coming off the walls. Also the stairs are tricky to manoveur when taller than 6ft, same goes for the bed.

Nice little hotel. Close to waterfront (but not on waterfront). Only thing that let it down was that there were no towels. But then again, we did not complain as owner dropped whatever he was doing to accommodate us as we arrived late. Recommended by us. Dog friendly

Seelust was closed down for the winter. We tried to book an apartment at Weissenhaüser Strand but place was fully booked. Instead we find Seelust Hotel for small money. Only 10 minutes from badenland.

Friendly, charming, competent staff, cozy room. The breakfast buffet is prepared with a culinary variety. Have a nice, peaceful breakfast in a very cozy atmosphere. The place speaks for itself and if you really want to relax and see friendly faces in the morning you should come back, I will too. Thank you for the lovely days.

Very clean and very nice service. Contrary to many reviews, we were positively surprised. A great room, the bathroom is not the most modern bathroom, but very, very clean. The bed is a new, very comfortable box spring bed. The breakfast is stocked with everything your heart desires, from scrambled eggs to cereal, from bread to rolls, sausage, cheese, meat salad, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cucumbers, peppers etc. You can only recommend this hotel, price-performance is great. The location is great, a minute's walk to the beach. We'd love to come back.

Not recommended!I was in apartment 5.Old, dirty and broken.Mold in the bathroom. And everything in this apartment is dirty, even the walls and ceiling.I slept in the children's room because it was relatively cool and clean (bunk bed with broken metal frame). I didn't want to sleep in the living room/bedroom. It was just too dirty for me.The sofa feels like a table top. The cushions were stained and there was a large tablecloth (?) draped over the entire sofa. The dirty kitchen is equipped with the absolute essentials.I spent one night there instead of three and had my booking rebooked, like many of my colleagues. One of my colleagues slept two apartments away, this apartment was cleaner and renovated. However, there was also a lot there that didn't invite you to linger. The shelf in the bathroom was white from lime. After a short conversation, I was quickly transferred to the neighboring hotel (Hotel Hohwacht). IGuess because a lot of us had checked out.The hotels seem to belong together. After the first positive impression in the new room, however, disillusionment came again. Old blood on the door, also mold in the bathroom, no possibility of ventilation or a vent in the bathroom. There is a window that has a broken, cheap roller blind that only works as a privacy screen. It is daylight in this room and there is no way to make it darker thanks to the roof window above the bed.I can't say much about breakfast, I had breakfast once. There is basically everything you could want. Only the green scrambled eggs spoiled my appetite.I'm staying in hotels and apartments for months at a time for work (no tradesmen or representatives). I've experienced a lot from 0 to 5 stars. I've been to almost all of Germany/Europe. But that was the worst yet.I have 25 years of gastronomy experience, and the hotel shows me what it looks like when you have completely given up (for €99 a night).I would have liked to report something positive, but I already have the positive in the text.
