Dont throw your money away by staying here. At least streets are more comfy. No air conditioning, it is warm and dusty. Beds are horrible. This place apparently did not invest any cent here. Only thing i find it nice, staff. They are very nice and helpful.

Great location and nice service by the hotel staff at reception , and in the restaurant. However, the furniture is old, walls and floors look weared down by the time and guests. The room had a bad smell which did not go away after several long time sessions of open windows freshening and freezing at February temperatures.

Used to stay at Astor hotel each year, last time was in 2017, and now back in 2023. But must say that unfortunately the standard they used to have, has really gone down. Old furnitures which should have been replaced long time ago. Lack of staff, only two really young girls at the breakfast restaurant (no bacon). The beautiful Astor bar has been closed for 3 years, what a shame. The location is so great, but really a shame that the hotel hasn’t been keep up in regard to furniture quality, staff etc.

It's a hotel in the centre of Kiel. It's close to shopping and restaurants. I had a room at the top of the hotel and it was a nice view.The room was clean, but the walls could certainly get a renovation.Therefore 4 stars.It was a nice stay for a attractive price. I will be back

Friendly staff, great location, adequate single rooms. However, cleaners start moving furniture each morning for hours which made it impossible to sleep. Simple solution would be to cover the legs of the furniture with felt. No noise plus protects the floor too. A win win situation.
