It's a good hotel for it's price. Room was big and specious, bed and pillow comfortable. Good bathroom with the shower in the bath. No air-conditioning, but window can be opened. Nice and quiet area. Underground parking 8€, or free street parking. Really quite area. Breakfast not bad.

We had to find a hotel at the last minute, because our friend suddenly fell ill, and the whole party opted to leave our WACKEN Open Air campsite a day earlier... Our next stop was Kiel, but since it was the peak of Summer, so all hotels a little more conveniently located were booked out. We worked at it a bit and found this hotel, which is kind of "in the middle of nowhere", but we were just grateful to have a roof over our heads for the night. The receptionist (whom Husband reckon is Dutch) was a sweet young lady and very polite. Her kindness really helped eased our anxiety from the earlier part of the day (Thank you my dear). We found our room 114 to be very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was also a good spread. This only thing Husband didn't like was the narrow underground parking, but otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay and I would put in a good word for this hotel. The only catch is you must have a car to access this place. Public transport is not an option.

The rooms were really dirty. Stains everywhere, even in the bed on the quilts and what looked to be a skidmark on one of the chairs. The bathroom was a nightmare and the whole room could use a good clean. It doesn't matter if it's outdated or not, the least you can expect from staying in a hotel is that it's clean.

From start to finish the stay for us here was really poor. Where do we even start? …

Overall the hotel was clean and nice. Our room although a bit date, was clean and the bed linens were nice and comfortable. The service at the hotel was OK.  …

The hotel was not what we expected. On the photos it looks like a decent hotel, but it looks old and badly maintained. First thing that we came across is that everything is in german, not really a big problem. But i think its kind of nice to have a translation or a receptionist that can speak a little bit of english.First thing we heard was that the restaurant was closed for diner. Breakfast on the other hand was open. The breakfast was not really good. The coffee and eggs were decent but the rest was mediocre. When we arrived we couldnt wait to get in the pool. The 'Wellness' area is in the basement and not well maintained. There are no changerooms and the pool was kind of green with a weird smell to it.The room was not clean. There was a herd of sheep under the bed and behind the couch. There is no coffee in the room. Some of the furniture was really old.I think this hotel could be way nicer if it was maintained in a better way. I will think twice before booking a room at Tulip Inn next time.

Excellent, considering the price we've paid. Big and comfortable rooms. Our suite also had a very nice private sauna. The pool underground was nicely warm. Friendly personal. Good breakfast. We recommend.

If you expect a cozy spa hotel, then be prepared to go without elements of a spa experience. The pool is good, but not much works. Not the spa jet fountain, not the underwater jet streams. The TV was out the whole weekend - all over the hotel. Breakfast was fine and location was fine if you go by car (a bit outside the city)

We arrived around 6 om and the lady in the reception was very polite and we had our comfort / superior room. We went up and found a nice room with wooden floor, sitting area and a fine bed. …

The hotel was nice and the kids loved the pool, but there was chloride smell in the rest of the hotel from it. The hotel is very quietly located with no traffic.  …
